POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Loved talking with superstar author (and good friend) @jennifermcmahonwrites at one of my favorite places @tombolobooks! We celebrated the release of her folk horror masterpiece STAY BURIED last night with a packed house of readers. Way more laughs than you would imagine while talking about her scary new book. 😂😱

I have my copy, and you should definitely grab your own! You will thank me later. There may even be some signed books left at the store.

a week later and still absolutely BUZZIN from my launch event for ANYWHERE ELSE at my beloved @tombolobooks. It was a perfect night.

Biggest crowd we’ve ever had in the courtyard, where I’ve stacked chairs and flapped book covers and plugged in sound cables for four years (!) never dreaming that my fellow booksellers would do it for me one day. My niece and nephew made their own t-shirts and made me cry. @maxjblowers made the salty watermelon margs of my dreams (thank you @claire__fm for sneaking me one while my mom safety-pinned my dress together) from @goodintentions_fl. Alsace and Candice introduced us with so much pride I had to stare at my shoes so I wouldn’t cry again - same with making eye contact with my sister @ncaltabellotta or @audoz - wasn’t gonna happen without a waterfall. All my Florida girls were there, grown up and still freak a leeks. @audgefudge made me pretty and I only had one curling iron induced freak out. Everyone raved about @tyler_gillespi3 and how charming he is, the best Florida conversation partner with the most thoughtful questions. And @kelseynoeljagneaux and the Tombolo crew made it all happen - the best team on the planet, for real. Mekhala even came from Virginia!! 🥹

I’m so thankful to every single person who was there, who helped welcome my first book into the world and showed me so much love. Dream come true. Let’s do it again!! ❤️💋

Ever wonder who’s really behind all the going’s on at the bookstore…it’s these cute little goofballs! 😂

Just a few book-obsessed kids who grew up to be book-obsessed adults…that also have to answer emails sometimes 😂

See you at the bookstore! 📚📚

Gratitude is the word that sits abundantly on our hearts after this year’s summit. 💜

Thank you to every single person who showed up—to our incredible panelists, talented vendors, generous facilitators, dedicated volunteers, and the beautiful space that held us. You made this gathering possible. Here are some photos- more to come ☺️

We know spaces like these matter. BIPOC healing matters. Representation in the leaders guiding the room matters. When we come together to heal, we shift what’s possible for ourselves, our communities, and the generations that follow.

From engaging in Indigenous healing practices like our crochet workshop—a modern weaving circle of connection—to grounding together in breath, story, and movement, we are reminded that healing is not just personal, it’s collective.

We are excited to keep building with you, to put into action the many ways we can pour into legacy, and to continue curating spaces where our community feels seen, safe, and held.

Here’s to healing together and creating community you can feel. ✨

And finally, please help us with our two Leos 🦁 a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY this week! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂

💜Tomorrow we celebrate the woman behind all the magic here, Alsace! We quite literally wouldn't be here in St. Pete without our fearless leader, so show her some love and thank her for being an incredible champion for the literary arts in our community! 💜

💚And then on Friday, we are sending some birthday love to one of our longest-standing booksellers, Nicole! A kicka** mom, bookseller, and a journalist in a time where that is not an easy thing to be! 💚
