As some of you know Mel and I started a jewelry business about 7mo. Ago. I am going to be very honest right now. This is one of the hardest things I have ever done. The stress, the sleepless nights, the Diet Coke and sugar, the hours, and my house turning into a jewelry shop has all been difficult. I keep asking myself, why? Why am I doing this?
This is what I have learned this far in my journey... 1st of all I have the most patient husband who has been so supportive, even when I keep taking money from his/our account, and he lost his wife at nights to jewelry. I have the most amazing friends who have dropped everything and stopped by to help for no reason other than to help because they want you to succeed. @caseyshrop who stepped in to learn to solder permanent jewelry and was a rockstar at it. This past week I was able to make some bracelets for a dear friends grand daughter that passed away, and also for the mom of the daughter for the funeral. Knowing that I had the opportunity of making a special little trinket for this special girl to be buried in, simply melted my heart. It's opportunities like this that I realized, this is my joy, this is my passion. This is why I'm doing this. I have heard Karin's voice at times when I was so discouraged and absolutely nothing was going right say, "it's going to be ok" I have felt her near and I know she is rooting for Mel and I!! I will keep on keeping because hey, we have made it this far!!
Thanks so much to @janetmaxfield @thebusybiddy for helping us to grow and for helping the little people.. I am so blessed for my crazy side kick @mel__nordstrom for having faith in me to be her partner. And a big thanks to all of you for your support in our journey!
We are excited to grow and learn some more.

"Nicolle Scott is smart, honest and incredibly hard working. She had a good grasp of marketing and priced my house perfectly. When it came to negotiations with other realtors, she was savvy yet very professional. I would recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy."✨🏠️

I commonly get asked why? This is my why. This video barely scratches the surface of all of the amazing friends I’ve met this year and more yet to come!! So grateful for each and every one of you.❤️

🚨Jocelyn Osmond 🚨

Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen, and host of @theteentalkshow, Miss @jocelyn_osmond joins us for an episode today!

This is the first time in the show’s history that I’ve had a guest on to teach us about Pageants!! 👀👑

I’d encourage ALL to listen to this one! The point of my show and platform is to educate on these types of things and I honestly feel the pageant space is misunderstood.

Take some time to tap in to this interview and listen to the awesome conversation Jocelyn and I have! You’ll be glad you did!!

Dropping Friday 🎙

My interview with Miss Utah’s Outstanding Teen, @jocelyn_osmond 👑

You aren’t going to want to miss this interview as we dive into the pageant world but also capture much more than just the “beauty” side of things.

What are pageants all about? What do these girls do to prepare? What are they doing in their communities? How do they handle the pressures of always having to be “on” for people and put on a happy face? What are their passions? What skill sets have they acquired through the pageants?

So many amazing things to learn this week and I couldn’t be more excited to bring on Jocelyn as our guest!!

Tap in and check it out! The Gametime Guru Podcast is popping off this Friday 🔥

So… I did a thing…. When @shakeitupwesnelson reached out to me, and proposed the idea of being a judge for the Miss Idaho Event in Idaho Falls, I thought he was kidding at first. But when I realized he was serious, I chose to open my mind and take on the opportunity.

Pageants are most certainly NOT something I have any sort of clue about. And prior to this experience, I sure had my fair share of opinions (albeit poorly formed and without any sort of backing) on the girls and events themselves.

I left that event this weekend, with such a feeling of gratitude. Grateful for Wes Nelson for challenging me to go out of my comfort zone and try something new. Grateful for the other judges whom welcomed a 33 year old “jock” with no prior experience, to their flock, and were so amazing to chat with about life and everything!! They were each so amazing! Grateful for the courageous young women who participated in the event, and showed me what these are actually all about! My perspective has completely changed on all of this! So for that I am also grateful!!

You’d best believe we will be doing a show on pageants too. I want my listeners to hear and learn what REALLY is happening behind the scenes with all this. The preparation, execution, ups and downs, the sisterhood aspect of it all and much more. There’s so much going on with these pageants the general public has absolutely no clue about!

I was inspired by the young women who took this by the horns and participated! Thanks to all of them, I have a new love and appreciation for this whole thing!

The Gametime Guru is adding this to his resume! And I have absolutely NO SHAME in it!!

Get outside your comfort zone from time to time. I bet you’ll learn a thing or two, and come out a better person 🤷‍♂️
