2022 was a fantastic year man, truly the best year to me. I made so many new connections this year that I am grateful for. I have so many good people in my life that genuinely care for me. Everyone in my life seems to be on a great path. I couldn’t ask for better. I was honestly shocked at most moments this year especially how it started off.
The year started or with me getting nominated @monstersdance on my birthday 🎂, which could you ask for a better birthday present?! This wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for @nikkigyfto giving me a scholarship to go there!!! I accomplished a goal that was set for 4 years and that I will always take pride in !!! Thank you again to @monstersdance and @rhapsodyjames for the nomination!!!! And thank you to everyone that made that weekend amazing .
The nomination allowed me to go to Cleveland and meet/be with amazing people that I learned so much from .
It also mad it possible to travel to LA for the first time with my brother @alexmateo___ !!!
It opened many doors to paths I didn’t even know existed!!! All these amazing experiences kept going with @liv3lihood , winning first place 🥇 at ELEMENTS AND PRELUDE NEW ENGLAND!!! This is a team that always makes me feel at home, a team where I can be myself, a team where we train our hardest and give it our all no matter what we are doing!!! I take appreciation to all the time we get together, the little moments like photos shoots or before competitions/showcases , and all the practices together!!!
The year went on and I went to LA again in the summer, there I finally saw my growth and how far I have came within the past 6 months. I taught my first class with my sis @jasmyneb_ !!!
Looking back on this year I was proud of myself and the things I accomplished with myself and with LIV3LIHOOD.
The last person I appreciate with my life is my mom @beckyg1605 . No matter what is happening in your life you try to make mine the best you can possibly make it ! All this traveling, dancing, making new connections! None of that would be possible without you ❤️ I love you , Thank you for making my 2022 the best year ever!!!<3

Happy Mothers-day Mom!❤️ I could go on forever about how much ily, and how much you do for me. There truly is no better Mom out there. You have sacrificed so much to get me where I am today and continue to do crazy and unheard of things to help me achieve my dreams. Being thankful simply isn’t enough. This is what love for one another looks like.

These kids want each other to succeed so much. They push each other and celebrate together. It's amazing to watch them share these moments as friends.

I get to witness how happy they are vibin' on stage during the freestyle battles and also how they are giving each other life during class. Always smiling. Always pushing. Always supporting.

It's funny to me when people ask why Matty likes to go to Monsters so much. Well, if you have to ask, you never stayed for one of these weekends.

This past weekend was one for the books! Always love dancing @kaos with my friends and family. Thank you to all of the faculty for each and every class! 💥 I took so many more pictures and videos but so sorry I can’t include and tag you all 😭

To my team, @royalthieves_nyc @lilthieves_nyc I am so proud of our growth and push together this weekend, I love you all! So happy to call you guys my family. 🐻🥇💚
