Hey besties!
In case you missed it, I received my #coffeepassyeg in the mail the other day! I'm excited to try out some of the new places this season as well as see some familiar ones, and of course sip on some delicious beverages.

Hi besties!

Just wanna pop on here and do a #turnbacktuesday to June 10th when my @unbelts order designed & illustrated by my good pal @prairiefruitarts came in! I was actually on my way to see them so, I kept the package with me and did the opening at one of our fav spots, Old Beverly Cafe ☺💜

Needless to say, I love the packaging and all that came with it highlighting Spencer and their work! I've worn the belt more than a handful of times since then and am definitely a fan!

If you haven't ordered yours, this month's a great time with proceeds being donated back into our local #queer community!

[Image description: An arrangement of the purchased items on a table. From left to right (more or less): a card with the belt and beverage sleeve pattern with Prairie Fruit Arts and Unbelts branding, a red Unbelts sticker that reads "I put pants on today." The beverage sleeve attached to an Unbelts card with details on how it's made. And finally the belt folded up with a tag that has a card with a photo of Spencer Blackwood and details inside. The belt and beverage sleeve pattern is of a diverse range of boobs and types of chests people have in various skin tones.]

Today goes to one of my newer pals @bl4kvoid Okikiade (she/her).
Okikiade is a rad artist I had the pleasure of meeting & sharing space w/at a birthday celebration last year! Her work is vibrant, some might say "trippy," & conveys a unique experience of emotions and existence. She also works in photography & film both behind & in front of the camera.

I really look forward to seeing what she makes in the coming months & hope to have more of her work in my home.
The following are just a few dope stickers she's made, which can be seen around town & beyond in fun places, and has added some magic to my stickers collage.

[Image description four slides: Slide 1 A flyer in various pink and peachy shades. Text in the upper right reads "Today's shout out goes to @bl4kvoid." Larger text in the center right reads "Sunday Shoutouts." And lastly, text in the lower right reads "Brought to you by @nierreviews."

An illustrated stamp of some cute flowers is in the upper left with a 20 in the corner. On the lower left is an illustrated arrangement of flowers including a peony or carnation and hibiscus.

Slide 2 A photo featuring the sticker of a dark skinned person who has curly hair. The line work of the person is bright green, they have yellow star earrings on both ears and are drawn upon a pink background.

Slide 3 features the sticker of a green face being pulled apart by unseen forces revealing a hidden sketched face in white. This is drawn upon a dark blueish green background.

Slide 4 features the sticker of a bright yellow face with green & white swirling hypnotic eyes. The top of its head is pulled high revealing a series of numbers, yellow text in the middle reads " Lost in the Matrix." This is drawn upon a light pink background and has whitish blue markings all around the face.]

Spontaneous post time! Just got these beautiful #hotchocolatebombs delivered! Made by the lovely Satu of @sugalipssweets.co

Get the last of her inventory while you can, cause we won't see these #sweettreats again until next holiday season, and I was really cutting it close with my order 😅

Pictured flavors not in order are: white peppermint (got the last one), strawberry, unicorn ×2, dino, pumpkin spice, turmeric, and chai tea ☺

She accepts DMs and e-mails for orders!

The chocolate bombs are blue, pink, orange, green, white, and yellow cream colored. Each one is decorated with drizzle and toppings that complement their flavors.]

I'm not big on New Year's resolutions and all of that, but in the past planners have been a helpful tool for me, so I'm hoping to resume using this one now that my mental health is in a much better place. Along with more reading & writing this year.

If you're into #resolutions or just hoping to make some changes in 2022, no matter how big or small, what are some of yours? Feel free to share in the comments ☺

Happy #boxingday everyone!!

Today goes to @_.liezl._ Anna (She/her) of the daughter & father duo Anna & Eduardo (Him/His). She is one of the coolest & kindest humans around & her work, prior to her father joining, was put on my radar by pals of @intentcoffee.yeg ☺

Since then, our Instagram friendship blossomed & I was able to meet her at the last Sari-Sari Market of 2021 which was truly a lovely experience. I scooped up a couple of her figurines: one for myself, the super adorable kitty cat & equally adorable unicorn for my bestie @velvetorchid 's birthday!!
Little did I know some other surprises were in store! Complete with more laughs & love! Swipe to 👀 or view stories

Anna & Eduardo's #kongkreto work continues to amaze me, from the vibrancy of the concrete colors & their unique Filipino flair, to the love & joy one gets from having a piece, or pieces, in your home.

You can find their work @flocboutique @thebeautyparlourltd @incantationsonwhyte and of course contacting them @_.liezl._ 💜

Here's hoping #nierreviews keeps on climbing in 2022!!

Hello everyone,
Slowly, but surely I'm starting work on a little "passion project" of mine in hopes of bringing more attention and support to local businesses, friends of mine, and or folks/organizations I think are rad. I've also created a page on Facebook which can be found via the same name I'm using here @nierreviews . I will probably be most active via stories, but intend to post semi-regularly once the ball is rollin'.

Thank you all for following and welcome to anyone who joins later. The support is very much appreciated 💜☺💜

Throwback Thursday to Tuesday where I posted a pic from last Saturday on my other page where I was feelin' myself before finishing up for a night out with the mister.
Yep, there's a little selfie "haiku" for this rare selfie. Nope, I didn't get contacts 😜
Happy Thanksgiving to those into that and Happy Thursday if you're not ☺💖
