STRUNG OUT- by @mamiblushmusic available everywhere (couldn't wait til fri!)

This song is about love addiction, drug addiction, the cycle of abuse, and how hard it is to get out once you're in.

If you are someone who:
- is stuck in a co-dependent/toxic cycle with your partner
-keeps attracting avoidant partners because of your abandonment fear
-is stuck in an abusive relationship and you don't know how to get out
-keeps doing the same thing over and over again with your partner and expecting a different result...
...this one is for you 🫶🏻

As someone who has experienced everything I mentioned above, and have dedicated years to heal from (and am still healing from), I just want you to know you're not alone.

Understanding the psychology behind these cycles, years of therapy, being honest with myself, being vulnerable with others, confronting my daddy issues, prioritizing platonic friendships, placing myself back on my own pedestal, and of course MUSIC, has all helped mold me back into the person you see today, but I'm still working on it. I wrote this song to remind myself of how far I've come and to remember my self worth. I hope it does the same for you too!

Structurally, this song started out as a @brrpmusic collab with my friend @nixxt_ Over the years it's proven a little difficult to finish the song all together BUT we still wanted to get the song out to the masses finally! I must give credit where credit is due, so full disclosure is Nick wrote the second verse and I wrote the first verse, pre-chorus, & chorus.

Beat/mix/master all done by @_illus._ this tune was originally written and recorded to a different beat, but since that beat was sampled and we didn't have the stems for it, we decided it would be best to have a custom beat built for it instead (if you need any work done, hit up my boy Max and tell him Mami sent ya)

Please give me a follow on all your favorite music streaming platforms, run them plays up, put on your playlists, and share with your friends/family! Thank you for listening/supporting/enjoying! Y'all are the best! 🫶🏻

Happy father's day to all the men given the opportunity. Fatherhood has been so good to me🙏🏽 Thank you @gym_rat_54 for instilling in me everything you have over the years through your actions. Being a dad is more than I had ever known prior to becoming one. Everything that comes with it I wouldn't trade for the world. To my son Kingston Isaiah Velasquez you are my world and i am so proud to be your daddy! ❤️💪🏾💯
