The other day we had an opportunity to give away a bike to a #Veteran who needed one. Denise has given America over 20 years of service. She fought insurgents in Iraq as a badass Apache attack helo pilot. She has a checkpoint there named after her. Checkpoint: Weezy. True story. Now she has another fight on her handd: Cancer. But she's not letting it slow her down yet. She's still an active member of our crew, and despite her own troubles, she's always focused on helping more #Vets. Especially female Vets, who she hopes get on more bikes and come shred trails with us! So if you know a female Vet, tag em. Share this. Get the word out. This is our TRIBE. #Military #Veteran #PTSD #22toZero #EnjoyLife #MTB #MTBdaily #MTBlifestyle #MTBlife #MTBcommunity #HOUSTON #HoustonTX #HTX #Htown #Texas #ThrillsNotPills #GetOffYourAssAndRIDE

Not everyone will "get" what you're doing. That's OKAY. Dont spend time trying to convince those people. The one's who immediately "get it" are the ones who MATTER. Lessons from @garyvee . Fucking #TRUTH Shout out to our partners at #HarrisCountyPrecinct2 and @teamrubicon_greaterhouston for seeing the big picture! #Respect! #MTBcommunity #MTBtrail #MTBlife #AllGood! #MTB #Veterans #Mission #Purpose #GiveBack #MentalHealth #GetOutside #PositiveVibes #HoustonTX #Htown #Houston

Surveying one of the drop in points of the new #MTBtrail we have been asked to project manage. Where this trail is going, there currently are none. Kids, civilians, and #Veterans who may be able to benefit from riding #bikes in #nature currently don't have many if any options on this side of town. So this trail is important for a LOT of reasons. If you want to assist, phase 1 begins DEC 7th, check out Facebook events for details, and to sign up! HUGE shout out to the local #RotaryClub & #TeamRubicon for their contributions!! #Military #Veteran #NatureHeals #NatureTherapy #MTB #Bikes #Trails #MountainBiking #MTBlife #MTBdaily #GetOutside #VeteransAffairs #SkillsNotPills #CommunityService #Volunteer
