𝟐𝟖, 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, & 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞

my 20s have been a period of true exploration, redefinition, and reflection and i’ve been reflecting on the ways i have honored, denied, and distracted myself.

I’ll be honest:
i don’t feel powerful.
but i feel… willing.

willing to make better decisions.
willing to stop being so scared to be seen.
willing to make more mistakes.
willing to believe that my life can actually feel good to live in.

i want freedom. satisfaction. audacity. reciprocity. fun.
not as fantasies—but as choices.

i don’t feel successful.
i don’t feel fulfilled.
i don’t have everything figured out.

but i do feel loved.
i feel seen.
and for the first time in a long time—
i believe in myself again.

i’m tired of trying to hate myself into becoming someone else.
it’s never worked.

i’m done dressing myself up just to feel worthy.
i’m done believing that who i am at my core isn’t enough.

28 is about liking myself.
loving myself.
honoring every version of me—
even the ones i used to be embarrassed of.

i still believe in love.
just not the fantasy of it.
but the choice of it.

i believe in sudden shifts.
in failure and glory.
and more failure.
in becoming.

i’m not done.
i’m just done pretending.

28 feels like finally choosing myself.
and i love that. 🤎

Honestly, I’m just filled with so much gratitude for my family and friends that took their time out to come and support me at my last show. It meant a lot to me.

I put a lot into my craft, so the support online and in person has meant a lot. I’m going to continue to work to get better at my craft and continue to work towards my goals. Thank y’all for everything!

Thank you to @theshowcase.fxbg for putting on a great show!
