No UCI World Championships for me this year❌

I’m not a common guest at the Trials events of the recent years, and the World Championships were the only events, which I kept attending. I was looking forward so much to meet all my friends from the trials family again this year in Riyadh, but the situation in the region makes it impossible to go to Saudi Arabia.

I do feel the frustration of the riders! 😭 When you invest all you passion into training, into riding, when you mentally preparing the whole year for this one race, and then you can’t go there or there is no race.
It’s also very hard mentally to keep preparing in such situation. The uncertainty with the World Champs hits harder, than a physical trainings. Hats off to the riders, who took this tough decision of not going to the World Champs and spoke out about that!

But I’m more frustrated by the lack of communication from the UCI side. Rider’s representatives have raised the question about Plan B or relocating the event half year ago, but there was no clear answer and no Plan B. Even when lots of the Top riders and national teams have declared, they will not go to Riyadh, there is no statement from UCI and the event is still promoted, like nothing happens.
There are definitely some contract restrictions, especially, when the event is signed for two years, but making a wise decision of relocating keeps public image of the customer and contractor way higher! People’s safety should be the first priority! F1 and WRC events has been canceled or relocated, but Trials and BMX not.

So better stay safe and keep training for the next season. Hope to see all of you then!
Wishing pease for all the World! ☮️

PS Those pictures from 2025 Worlds in black&white edition are looking good!

6 RIDERS, 720 POSSIBLE FINISHING ORDERS🤯

With six finalists, every position from first to sixth can change. That creates 720 possible finishing orders:

6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 720

We applied the World Cup points to each of them. The percentages show how many of those 720 scenarios would make each rider champion. They are possible routes to the title, not predictions.

It does not take into account the riders’ level, or performance potential.

All six finalists can still win the World Cup in both Men’s categories. @alejandro_montalvom takes the Men 20” title in 49% of the possible orders, while @charlierolls5 takes the Men 26” title in 35%.

In Women, four riders remain in contention, with @albariera_08 becoming champion in 69% of the scenarios.

Some totals exceed 100% because certain finishing orders leave riders tied at the top.

We also counted every clean section from today’s semifinals. A full 60 points counts as a clean, and every rider attempted all five sections twice.

Men 20” and Men 26” both had 25 riders and 250 total runs. Section 1 was the hardest in both categories, with only 3 cleans from 50 attempts.

In Men 20”, only Alejandro Montalvo and @borjaconejos99 cleaned it. In Men 26”, there were slightly more clean runs overall, 48 compared with 44, and Charlie Rolls completed all 10 of his sections without putting a foot down.

In Women, Section 3 was the hardest. Only 2 of the 52 attempts were clean, and both belonged to Alba Riera.

Tomorrow, one of those 720 possible orders becomes reality.

And remember, I’m never wrong ;)

⭐️ONE STEP FROM GLORY: MEN 20”⭐️

Yesterday we looked at the champions who shaped European trials history. Today, six riders remain.

Borja Conejos @borjaconejos99 leads the final after winning yesterday’s semifinal, with Alejandro Montalvo @alejandro_montalvom and Eloi Palau @eloipalau24 just twenty points behind. All three already know what it takes to become European champion.

Robin Berchiatti @robinberchiatti2 arrives fresh from a World Cup victory, while Thomas Pechhacker @thomas_pechhacker and Niilo Stenvall @niilotrial will be fighting for their first European crown.

Three former champions. Three riders ready to write a new chapter.

Who takes the 20” crown?👑⭐️🥇

And remember, I'm never wrong ;)
