Today’s the day. Nothing beats a year-long-jet-2-(not-so)-holiday that isn’t even a holiday because I’ll be studying the entire time 🤪

I’m trying to find the right words to describe the last 7 years. Nothing seems to encompass everything I’m feeling. So much can change so quickly, and I am so grateful for every single person that’s been a part of my life here in Canada. In an attempt to keep this caption from turning into an essay, I love you, and see you soon ❤️

Not goodbye, just see you later 💕

7 years, 2 cities, countless memories. From Oakville to Toronto, Canada gave me so many friends for life and moments I’ll never forget. London’s calling, but you’ve still got a spot on my couch and in my heart.

Love you always,
Freya 🤍

to b2, you guys make me only half regret taking physics-chem. from the stupid physics jokes and many laughs, you made the past two years not extremely painful. thank you for being such a supportive and positive bunch of people. i’ll miss you guys ❤️
to the cohort, the last few weeks i have come to be proud of being a part of this cohort. thank you for a good four years.u

Having the privilege to serve as an OGL last/this year has been one of the most wonderful surprises in my school life so far. We started off as a team of disconnected and awkward cohort mates, with different backgrounds, ideas, interests and goals...but through all of the challenges and team tasks throughout our camp and planning, we BONDed in a way that I could never imagine before. Although we still had our differences, each of us put aside our personal interests, and thought as an entire OGL body; a body that is working for one sole purpose: Impacting the lives of SOTA's new generation. And I'm so proud and happy that we were able to do that! Although times were tough and situations appeared bleak, we pushed and pulled each other all the way to the end, to finish with a bang! BLU 2016 was an enormous success to me, firstly because we fulfilled our goal of giving the year one's a good foundation for their years ahead, and secondly because we, the OGL's learnt and grew so much, individually and as a team. I cannot thank the teachers, my fellow OGL's and the Yr1 students enough, for giving me this entire experience that has really opened my eyes, heart and mind to see the blessings all around me, and to know myself better. I have so many new comrades, whom I know that I can count on, our cohort can count on, and the school can count on. To these new friends: continue to be a guiding light and also a stepping stone for everyone around you, serving before leading. I love you all, and here's to an awesome kick-start to 2016!
