Back when my main camera was in the shop (again) getting all the internals replaced, so I took out my old camera to the beach, just in case, and I’m so glad I did! It’s been quite a while since we had gorgeous skies like this one. Thanks to Nicky for being a willing model!

A quick explanation of the structure of my functional movement classes that I run with @ascend.movement.jiujitsu .

These classes are designed not only to challenge your strength and stability but will also teach you the ins and outs of how to hold your body in the correct position.

This will enable your body to feel better and for you to know that you’re not hurting yourself!

So the classes begin with a series of stretches and releases that are taught scientifically.

We then go into some infant development positions to wake up your body and mind such as crawling, rolling and lying.

We then go through a circuit series that works on a variety of things such a balance, strength, coordination and more.

Before we bring it back down into some qi building exercises that bring your nervous system right back down.

When and where? Tuesdays and Fridays 5pm at @ascend.movement.jiujitsu in Moffat Beach.

And the amazing news is I’m offering your first class for free!

If you want to book or have any questions either contact myself, Michael or Lynsey from @ascend.movement.jiujitsu and we’ll sort it out for you.

Can’t wait to see you there!

Not all journeys are made to move —
some are just meant to pause.

These rocks were SO slippery! It took @nik_nik_nik50 and I ages to get into position. We were like old nannas shuffling around.

It’s been a big week, checking out Adelaide and the Yorke Peninsula. Have you been? Where’s your fave place to photograph? Big thanks to @nik_nik_nik50 for being a safe driver (even though the car voice may not have agreed) and having so much fun! Stay tuned for the release of my NEW Yorke Peninsula exclusive photography experience in 2026 for all levels of photography (even phones). Are you in?
