Hubby knew it wasn’t perfect but was willing to appreciate the effort put into it. It’s not always about perfection. It might not be perfect, but it can still be beautiful 😍. #couplegoals❤️ #love #laughter #marriage #play #luxury #staycation

Yesterday was one for the books! ✨

I kept thinking of that man in the Bible whose four friends tore through the roof just to get him closer to Jesus 🙌. Well, God has blessed me with my own “four friends,” and these covenant sisters keep pushing me closer to Him every single day. 💕

One of them - Nike - was in town, and she was privileged to be at the City of God Church, Glasgow, where she taught with simplicity, yet fire filled the room. 🔥 Such clarity, such grace. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel calling her my Covenant Sister. Just like God declared, “This is my beloved Son”—I sat there in the congregation saying in my heart: This is my beloved Sister! 🙌

And then came the laughter 😅… Nike and I wore the same fabric and style to church. She even told the whole congregation she made sure this happened because she wanted to mark her territory as my best friend for the day! That moment was so funny 💕

Later, we were at Eloho’s house, and Nike made sure Eloho wore the fabric she made for her too - and yes, she even posed us for the picture! 📸 The fellowship was rich, warm, and refreshing.

Yesterday was also extra meaningful because it would have been my dad’s 90th birthday 💜. I smiled imagining I would have painted Ilorin red - most likely purple - but my heart rests knowing he is with the Lord.

At the end of the day, we laughed, we wore our fabric, we shared covenant joy… and I’m already missing Nike. 🥹

Who are the “four friends” in your life drawing you closer to Jesus? Tag them and celebrate them today.

Hey Sister! 💕

Through my experience as a therapist and as a woman, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact unhealed negative emotions can have on women's lives.

Unaddressed emotional wounds, whether from the past or present, can significantly hinder personal growth and progress towards desired goals.

These unresolved emotions often manifest in self-sabotaging patterns or destructive relationship dynamics, ultimately stemming from a deeper need for emotional healing.

Just as this scripture clearly states,
Hebrews 12:1~"…lay aside every weight and sin that clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."

This could also mean the release of past mistakes and regrets

By dropping these burdens, we gain clarity and focus on our purpose.

As you run the race of purpose, you constantly need to Identify areas holding you back, surrender them to God and embrace His strength and guidance.

Run with endurance, knowing:

"You are not alone, and you are empowered." ~Hebrews 12:2 ❤️‍🔥😊

Take the time to reflect on these questions;

What burdens am I carrying?
What weights do I need to lay aside?
What race of purpose has God set before me?

There are three people in this picture, the man, the woman and the spirit of oness that is visibly at work in between them.

This was a spontaneous picture captured during "The Marriage Haven" retreat organised by Mrs Nike Adekunle.
I couldn't help but frame it and gift it to the couple.😀😍😍
I absolutely love the energy 🔥🔥
I was pained as a single man though 😂...
God abeg when😭😂🤣
