To Disappear Suddenly - update! We’re getting close to the finish line with our film @todisappearsuddenly I’ve recently been working with composer @esc.oto on the music, which has been an incredibly fun and rewarding process. We’re now preparing to move into sound design, grading, and festival submissions. Post-production has taken a little longer than anticipated, but I’m really pleased with where the film is at and proud of the hard work from everyone involved. Looking forward to sharing more soon 🔎 Photo by @nicolayoungphotography @sean.mcgrail @margaretmschmueck

!!! BIG BIG BIG ANNOUNCEMENT !!!! Our debut album "The Kon-Tiki Project" is approaching its third anniversary very soon, and what better way to celebrate than releasing a live album? Yes, as you can see in the picture, we got together in one room in an abandoned radio station and spent a fine Sunday in the dark recording this little labour of love. As we have been performing the songs off this record live for many years now, they have twisted, morphed, stretched and inverted, becoming their own beasts, monolithic, and wholly separate to the tracks heard on the studio album. Thus, we felt it important to document the transformation in this here live record. On the 6th May 2025, we shall unleash this album into the world, and we can't wait for you to hear the new lives these songs have taken on! As usual, we must thank @nikhilppatel99 for his invaluable help! He both took the photo you see and created the album cover, and he has done a fantastic job, as to be expected. See you in May, this isn't the only thing we will be releasing that month...

TICKETS IN BIO Honestly, we haven't been this excited in a long time. It is our pleasure and privilege to announce that we, the rock and roll band Transmissions, are going on a mini tour this May bank holiday weekend! It has always been a dream of mine to tour, and we have finally managed to contrive this littile outing here. We're hitting our two hometowns at Round the Corner in Liverpool, and Dive in Wolverhampton. The former on Saturday the 24th and the latter on Sunday the 25th. *The 26th is a bank holiday so don't go "oh I can't come because I have work the next day", you don't have work the next day!* Tickets are £5 and you can buy them both online via the link in our bio or on the door. Of course we will be having support bands which we will be announcing very soon, but for now rest assured that these shows are truly going to be special. Thank you to @nikhilppatel99 once again for the fantastic poster (it's a Jimmie Rodgers reference, by the way) and we can't wait to see you at these shows. Each show will be different so if you want to be like the Transmissions equivalent of a Deadhead, you are strongly encouraged to attend both shows! See you soon, Transmissions

Our resident artiste extraordinaire and good friend @nikhilppatel99 (the sixth member of Transmissions, if you will) has created this wonderful short film called Evensong, and we are thrilled to be a part of it! We are honoured that he asked us to compose the score and you can hear it if you watch the motion picture! Head over to Nikhil's tagged page to see it! Lots of love, Transmissions x

LINK IN BIO Happy Friday the 13th! Instead of being murdered by Jason Voorhees, how about you unwind with a glass of wine and stick on a live video of ours? @nikhilppatel99 lovingly recorded our gig from Decmeber last year when we released our second album, and it is here now for you all to watch! Be warned, if you think this is good, you ain't seen nothin' yet... Keep your eyes peeled for more live videos, coming very soon.
