Movement Artists use movement to direct the viewer's eye through a work of art. Dance is an art form entirely based on movement. It’s my favorite choice of art form to express When I can’t find the words.

I’ll be teaching Heels class

June 1st
8:30pm

Happy Friday!!!

We’re back with another fun fact So in April of 2020 I was planning to begin the JV Mentorship for creative artists but Due to Covid I couldn’t do in person. So I went on a whim and did it virtually. It was scary but I didn’t second guess it & went for it.

This had to be one of the most rewarding, exhausting, but fulfilling experiences I’ve gone through. The accountability that we held for each other is what helped each one of us show up and get through tough days especially during the most uncertain time of our lives. Everyday for a month (crazzzyyy I know) except for weekends we trained. We worked out or did yoga, and took 2 different styles of classes a day whether it was (jazz, technique, house, hip hop, samba, contemporary, South African, heels, & jazz funk) along with sketching, styling & a make up course all taught by Industry professionals. The aspiring teachers in the program also got a chance to teach and experience teaching through zoom which was a whole other beast.

A huge thank from the bottom of my heart goes out to the students who showed up & the teachers that took time out of their schedule from different time zones to share their knowledge and educate these aspiring artists. All for the love of IT!!! 🙏🏾♥️
