POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

‘Tis the season of the Easter Lamb Cake.

This sweet symbolic centerpiece originated in Germany (Osterlamm) and was popular in Poland and Austria. It represents Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God. And marks the end of Lent.

Over the years we have sold tons of lamb cake molds. Each customer has come back and shared their horror stories about recreating this Easter tradition.

The Osterlamm has brought professional bakers to their knees. And has been the fodder for a million memes.

We have seen ONE success. That win belongs to Nikki Conte. Her lamb cake was as good as we have seen them. So sweet!! I hope she posts a pic of this year’s creation.

How about it? Do you think you could make an Easter Lamb Cake with a modicum of success?

I have been meal prepping fairly consistently for 10+ years! I set aside one evening a week to cook in BULK. I focus on protein, carbs, and colors (fruit/vegetables).

**This ensures I have balanced food intake for the day and I’m getting the right amount of protein, carbs, fat, and essential vitamins/minerals into my body**
🥩 🥗🍛🍊🥜🥝🥦🍯🥕

I eat food to nourish my body. I LOVE cooking, I CRAVE real food. I feel awful when I eat foods my body can’t handle (we aren’t meant to eat overly processed foods).
Don’t get me wrong.. I do indulge in sweets and salty food 🤤 , nothing wrong with that! I do, however, make sure my body is still properly fueled throughout the day.

Why meal prep⁉️

1️⃣ Can save you time, money, and energy.

2️⃣ Helps avoid stress or overeating- “what am I going to eat, I’m starving!?” (Hangry)

3️⃣ Helps ensure you are meeting your body’s needs.

4️⃣ THE QUALITY AND VARIETY OF YOUR DIET WILL IMPROVE.

5️⃣ You’ll become more informed about nutrition- eat whole, real foods! Skip the processed snacks, frozen dinners, and additives.

6️⃣ You’ll begin to notice weight loss… and/or increased muscle mass (combine strength training with increased protein intake).

🔓 There are so many benefits of meal prepping!
All it takes is some planning on YOUR part to get a TON of health benefits and lifestyle advantages in return.

The strength of consistency is one of the most evident characteristics that separates the successful from the failed. Whether or not they are motivated, successful people choose to follow their goals and take the required action nearly every day, which enables them to achieve remarkable achievements.
⭐️
⭐️
Ups and downs are a part of life. Even if life in our world is nothing but a roller coaster, everyone is searching for methods to be more reliable and consistent. Your ability to fulfill your goals, live a healthy lifestyle, and do well at work or school will all be made easier with consistency.

✴️ PSA: Shawn trains for lifestyle not just physical looks.
[If you want to be lean and muscular.. Shawn is also your guy] However, majority of clients just want to feel / function better.

Did you know?
The average age of retirement in the USA is in your 60’s.. and the average age of death is high 70’s 😳

We work majority of our lives! 🥴
Then, majority of retired people can’t enjoy their retirement like they thought they would
because they are TIRED, their bodies aren’t functional.

— Nikki has worked with hundreds of elderly patients and so many of them wished they did more when they were able {hike, travel, explore, exercise more} —

❗️We beat our bodies up doing manual labor.
❗️We eat processed foods loaded with fortified ingredients.. to then develop cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, etc.
I could go on and on about what we do to our bodies when we are young.

Regardless of your age, it’s time to work on your lifestyle fitness now.

This will allow you to :
⭐️Climb those mountains you’ve been wanting to hike.
⭐️Play on the floor with your grandkids (now or in your future).
⭐️Travel and explore those states or countries you’ve always dreamed of.

:
Shawn’s weekly schedule FILLS fast!
It’s time to start the New Year off with some awesome health goals.
