POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Back in 2021, both the original The Rocket Dolls Instagram account and Facebook page were hacked. After years of trying to get them back, Meta have now effectively said they “can’t” retrieve them.

So, here we are. This is the NEW OFFICIAL ROCKET DOLLS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT, run by me, Nikki Smash.

It’s a real shame to let years of history, memories and hard work disappear because a tech company can’t recover an account.

Anyway, here I am!👊🏻

DROP THE GUN IS OUT NOW!!

This is genuinely the most aggressive song I’ve ever written. It’s fucking relentless.

Having James from Bleed Again come in on the screams took this track to a whole other level. His vocals brought it exactly where it needed to be, and I couldn’t be happier with how this one turned out.

If you need something to absolutely destroy your gym playlist to, this one’s for you.

Go give DROP THE GUN a listen, crank the fucking volume, and let me know what you think!

And don’t forget, we’re bringing this chaos to The Grace, London, on November 7th for our EP launch show. Get your tickets and come make some noise with us!

Wow.

I genuinely don’t know how to feel.

Today, our debut single, “I DON’T KNOW HOW TO FEEL”, is finally out in the world.

This song is the first chapter of our debut EP, THIS MACHINE IS USELESS, which arrives on 6th November. Pre-orders and pre-saves are available now.

And whilst I’ll save most of the excitement for later (including news about our EP launch show at The Grace in London on 7th November…), I wanted to take a moment to thank some incredible people who helped make this happen.

Firstly, Bekah, for your unwavering support throughout what has often been a difficult and painful process.

Dr Hannah and the team at Crawley Hospital, thank you for two years of vocal rehabilitation, recovery and helping me find my voice again.

Brandon Ashley and Caitlin Stokes, thank you for your incredible production, mixing, mastering and creative collaboration throughout this record.

Paul White (ex-Defiled / Bootyard Bandits) for some frankly exceptional drumming, and Arran Lomax (Call Me Amour) for the killer bass playing. You were the original rhythm section that helped bring these songs to life and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Georgia Train, thank you for your time, creativity, collaboration and for tracking my vocals.

Drew Lowe, thank you for helping track guitars and vocals, and for delivering some absolutely mind-blowing guitar solos.

Jack Watson, thank you for the additional vocal tracking and support.

Scott Stevens, thank you for your guidance, encouragement, confidence and friendship.

And Ace, thank you for your continued love and support.

Most excitingly, HOW TO DISAPPEAR AND NEVER BE FOUND has now found its permanent home with:

Jimmy Owen
Drew Lowe
Joe Marshall
Josh Stilwell

HOW TO DISAPPEAR AND NEVER BE FOUND isn’t a place you go. It’s the moment you stop being who the world expects you to be and start becoming who you really are.

Today is the first step in that journey.

Thank you to everyone who’s listened, shared, supported and believed in this project.

This is only the beginning.

🖤
