Today, I choose gratitude.
I thank the Almighty God for the gift of life, for strength, for mercy, and for keeping me through every season.

It is with humility that I asked for hymns instead of birthday wishes — because worship feels more fitting than celebration right now. As I prepare for my birthday and Mother’s Day, my heart remembers the painful loss of a dear friend and sister just last week, and also the absence of my beloved mum. This will be my first birthday and Mother’s Day without her.

The pain is real, but so is God’s faithfulness. In all things, we must still give thanks.
I am deeply grateful to God for life, for memories, for love shared, and for the grace to keep going.

Thank you to everyone sending hymns, prayers, and kind thoughts. May God bless you all. 🙏🏾#

Celebrating my amazing Aunty at 70 🎉❤️

From my nursery school days till now, you have been more than just a caterer—you have been a blessing to our family. You fed me, you fed my mum, and you fed our entire home with so much love and care. Even after my mum passed, you never stopped showing up for us.

Your food didn’t just fill our stomachs 😂—it filled our hearts. Through every season, you made sure we were nourished, healthy, and surrounded by warmth. That kind of love is rare, and I will never take it for granted.

At 70, your kindness, generosity, and strength still inspire me. Thank you for being constant, for being selfless, and for being family in the truest sense.

Happy 70th birthday, Aunty Rebecca. You are deeply loved and forever appreciated ❤️🎂
