My summer so far. Bit of work bit of climbing. Although…When your hobby becomes your career, does it still count as work? 😜💁‍♀️😍💪🧗🏻‍♀️🙌🥰🐶🫶🏼🫂 And the best of summer is yet to come! 😉 The highlight though is definitely the youth climbing camp. I love this group of people! 🧡🤗 There is never a dull moment with them. 😁 They inspire me to keep learning and be the best version of myself for them. 🙏 There might not be many of us…but man, the climbing hype is SOOO real! A smile you’ll often see while I’m at work. 😁 Recently I’ve been digging through some old photos for a little project, and it made me feel a bit nostalgic. It also gave me the chance to step back and reflect on my work with young climbers. Together we have already created so many memories, experienced countless beautiful moments, visited many places, and learned a great deal from one another. I truly believe it is a privilege to work with young people like this — so eager to climb, and most of the time full of smiles and positivity. It’s inspiring to follow their journey, to observe them, and to witness their progress — not only in climbing, but in the way they think and grow as individuals. Every year I am reminded again of the positive impact I can have on them. It feels like a great responsibility, but also something that brings me joy and a quiet sense of pride. To encourage young people through something I personally love so much, to teach them what truly matters, and to sometimes simply be there for them — that is what means the most to me at the end of the day. To help someone through my example, my values, and my way of thinking — and to pass on something that will stay with them throughout life — that is the greatest victory. Of course, I’m realistic enough to know that sooner or later our paths will go in different directions. Life might even carry me somewhere else first. But considering the strong bonds we’re building along the way, I truly believe that even when I’m fifty, someone will still call me and ask: “Hey, are we going climbing?” But until then, there is still plenty of time ahead of us. So what do you say, team? Let’s create many more unforgettable stories, enjoy this incredible sport that brings us together, and build friendships that will last a lifetime! ✨🫶🏼 @plezanje_je_simpl
