I love the way realtor Jess Watts brings together local businesses and creates such a fun day for the community.

This year had everything — an incredible sound bath led by jazz singer extraordinaire @andromedaturre, delicious gluten-free bites, local businesses, shopping, catching up with friends… and yes, I even enjoyed the yoga with @yogasix_mountkisco. 😂

Maybe I’m becoming a yogi after all.

I am heartbroken to hear that Crustacean Beverly Hills has to leave the spot they’ve established for over 30 years. Thank you for always being there for us for over a quarter of a century… we are the truly privileged ones.
Chef Helene An is 82 and still cooking at @crustaceanbh every single day, and she is the literal inventor of the everyday modern garlic noodle. They are a fierce, women-led business who built a world-class hospitality empire from scratch. Elizabeth An is one of the most generous and caring people I know—she is the epitome of compassionate capitalism and resilient immigrant entrepreneurship. She has given us the stage at her restaurants so many times, we should help make sure she’s center stage right now…
For over three decades, these strong women made that entire corner of the Golden Triangle an iconic power-player destination and helped define Hollywood glamour. The new owner of the building won’t work with the family to permanently extend their lease on Bedford. A reasonable landlord would give these visionary women a fair lease and not misplace a piece of history. Their last day on Bedford Drive is July 29th.
We, the community, are the privileged ones for having been invited into The An Family’s iconic home for over a quarter of a century. They feed us with food, with love, and with music—three of the most important things on earth. Please, join me in messaging the landlord to let them know how much this community loves Crustacean, and why their legacy belongs right here on Bedford Drive.
They created a historic Beverly Hills landmark that a REIT wants to erase. Good luck to whatever corporate chain tries to replace them—this neighborhood knows exactly whose home this truly is.
