Daljina (distance) Inspired by the acoustic environment that shapes the way we communicate, Daljina is a performance presenting a dialectic between two approaches of covering distance with sound. One of these approaches is represented by a loud singing style of the central Balkans suitable for long-distance communication in the mountains - while the other approach bridges the gap using acoustic amplification. Close your eyes and explore the distance between you and the voice of the choir. Piece made by: @pirkooo & @idamyraida Singing pipes: Neon choir (18 voices) Ganga voices: E-live Ganga choir (9 voices) Solo voice: @idamyraida Conductor: @pirkooo Ganga vocal coach: Julia Sćepanović 📍 Nikolaïkerk Utrecht

Dear all, We want to invite you to a series of activations of the space at @de_bouwput which will be happening between 26.02-01.03! Initiated by @happyasasquare and co-curated by @sophie.dandanell slide 2: Mutant Shelter Reimagining the Body as Home Speculative Writing Workshop happening on Friday 27.02 13:00-14:30 hosted by @laura__boser In response to the turbulent times we live in, this collective writing session invites participants to return to the body as a shelter, a portable home. Through shared authorship and collective writing, cutting, stitching, and rewriting, we will imagine speculative, mutant bodies shaped by crisis. Together we explore, what if our bodies could grow new organs for resilience? Develop protective skins? Shift shape in response to instability, heartbreak, exhaustion or loss of homes? Please sign-up via dm to @sophie.dandanell Slide 3. this page is a blanket. 27.02 15:30-16:30 with @tonikritzer you can: fall asleep under it / cover your body for warmth / wrap your friend in need of support in it / spread it across a meadow and invite your friends to sit with you / if this page is a blanket, what wor(l)ds does it hold? You are invited into the insomniac dreamscape, to read and rest collectively. Toni Kritzer will share their zine/blanket with a small performance, then we slip into reading on crip bedlife together: about what it means to write from bed, what inner worlds the bed holds, and sick beds as places of isolation as well as crip solidarity. Bring your whole self, and get cozy. <3 This is a masked event and we ask you to take a self test beforehand. The building is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately has no wheelchair accessible toilet. For access questions please send a dm <3 Slide 3. Natural dyeing circle with @sophie.dandanell - materials are provided, just drop in<3 Slide 4. Repair circle with @mariewillfort - drop in a and fix your beloved clothing! Slide 5. ,,, Made of Commas, not Dots ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lately, we have been reflecting on the interconnection between crafting, storytelling, and resisting. And how can such a relationship contribute to the practice of holding space together? In the days between thursday the 26th of february and sunday 1st of March (26.02-01.03 2026), we - dariya (dar) trubina sophie dandanell & invited friends, invite you to a series of events: we want to meet in space and cherish being there together. Coming from textile(s) and texture(s), as well as linguistic research, we look at the narratives that arise within and around material. What happens when we gather, not necessarily to decode, but rather to find moments of encounter and solidarity with one another? This project wants to get a closer look at what it might mean for us today to use archival elements, encoded matter, woven patterns, chromatic combinations, not immediately available for interpretation - what happens when we gather, not necessarily to decode, but rather to find moments of solidarity across. “Every voyage can be said to involve a re-siting of boundaries”. (Trinh T. Minh-ha, elsewhere, within here) Negotiation, reshaping, fluidity: from physical movements – whether chosen or imposed – to the continuous practice of stretching between homes, spheres of belonging, a here and there, a temporary or once-existing or not-anymore or newly adopted home. A constant adjustment. Transformation. Fragmentation. “Shameless Hybridizing”. Re-plotting of narratives. Relations. Kins. What happens in the process of co-creation between the self (selves) and the language? Initiated by @happyasasquare and co-curated with @sophie.dandanell taking place at @de_bouwput ▪️ Programme will follow soon, along with info about our invited friends! ▪️
