Another start for @nikolys07

17-year-old American playing for @apoelfcofficial first team in pre-season.

Continuing to build on his success after making his first start in May for the first team.

Wearing number 33 on my 33rd birthday.

@nikolys07 90-minute Pro Debut and match highlights wearing the #2 jersey for APOEL FC against Omonia playing the #5 (left center back) position.

The dream is real. It’s possible for American children. Nik is living proof.

I had Nik training when he was 9 to 12 years old 4x-5x a week in the program before @beastresidency called the “Soccer School”.

We had 6-student-athletes training. 2 have reached the pro level. He then left to Europe and has been with the club APOEL since.

Thoroughly loved working with @nikolys07 again especially after getting his first few minutes of professional football including 90-minutes against Omonia for his club @apoelfcofficial

Here is a session recap of our training on Monday.

Wow. Words are not able to describe the feeling of watching one of the student-athletes who was the foundation of @beastresidency and watching his dream become a reality making the first team of @apoelfcofficial and playing in two pro-matches.

And now, he has given me his first ever game jersey. He was assigned the number 2 game jersey. I am beyond proud of all his work and dedication… to see him from when he was 9-years-old until 12 years old then he moved to Europe. That was what we called the “SOCCER SCHOOL”. We trained 4x a week from 6:30-8 AM and a few years later BEAST was created in current format.

It’s an incredible journey and I’m so excited to see how it progresses over the next few years. The moral of the story is, it’s possible and we will do it again through our program here in Orlando, FL.

Congratulations Nik! Super proud of you and the journey you are on as a 17-year-old. Bright future and I was so happy to work with you again this summer. I will be visiting you soon! 👊

@nikolys07 plays a #4 for @apoelfcofficial and has played in two professional matches wearing the #2 jersey.

He’s come back to his home in Orlando, FL to technically sharpen up before returning for pre-season in July.

@nikolys07 back into work at @beastresidency this morning in 📍Orlando, FL.

He’s preparing for his upcoming season with the @apoelfcofficial first team. He’s a center-back.

It’s been an incredible experience for our student-athletes to watch him put in work and speak with all the parents and student-athletes about the journey they are on and how he left the UNITED STATES and got to Europe.

@nikolys07 shares his journey to the top and all the “sacrifices” — which really ARE NOT sacrifices to making it. They are apart of the journey to being great.

1) Training every single day
2) Focused & developmentally specific training
3) Virtual school
4) Training on his own at home
5) A belief system that his time would come
6) An elite athlete diet

It truly takes much more than words. Actions are key for a student-athlete to be successful and being committed to the journey.

Special thank you to @nikolys07 for stopping by and being our special guest today at @beastresidency to share your story and experience with our student-athletes and telling them it’s possible for them by being committed and bought-in to the journey they are on.
