With Hurricane Marie 2.0 entering our swell window, we couldn’t help but take a look back at OG Marie of 2014.

Unfortunately our new Marie won’t come with the same firepower, however it will be on par with the strongest tropical cyclones we’ve seen this year. An added bonus for this one is its speed. Its slow track means more days of waves.

Throwback Thursday…Here we are looking back in the past going far back is late 60s early 70s Nancy and the 90s as well. I grew up in north side of HB). I knew Nancy KATIN personally and I was a devoted follower for all the things she did for the surfing industry as a whole RC surfboards in the early 70s as well supporting her contest that she put on the RC surfboard team was quite known as underground surfboard team that took on the early 70s contest with a storm. Alohaaa Thursday 🤙🏻Here’s a real Throwback…frozen in time this picture shows 1974 the RC shop in all its glory so many fantastic things happened in this shop so many different shapers from all different parts of the world shaped in this shop. It was a special shop known as the underground off Main Street handcrafted and design boards that came out of here, and these designs that made changes in the surfing industry as a hole and helped others that surfed on the RC boards that I had handcrafted for them and advanced they’re surfing abilities and help to achieve their continuous unlimited boundaries the story continues...#throwbackthursday #tbt #surf #surfboards #waves

Thank you @lacrausurfboards for the incredible design. We don’t copy other brands’ designs. when we don’t have them; we either create a new one or turn to shapers we have an affinity and respect.
