sunday is for reading

One of my all-time favourite books: The Four Agreements by @donmiguelruiz

A book I keep returning to, because its message feels so simple, yet holds so much depth. A beautiful reminder to be mindful of the words I speak, not to take everything personally, to remain curious instead of making assumptions, and to always do the best I can.

Four gentle agreements that continue to shape the way I move through life, with more awareness, freedom and softness, towards myself and others. A book that somehow meets me differently every time I read it.

In this moment, I was actually reading another one of his beautiful books: The Mastery of Love

If it’s all feeling a little too much right now, take this moment to just be.

Sometimes there are no words for the feelings we have inside.

Place a hand on your heart, take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth.

Do this as often as you need.

Asante.
