POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

October is Emotional Wellness Month, reminding us that our ability to manage stress, maintain balance, and build resilience directly shapes our overall health. Take a look at some of our programs that support emotional wellness:

📖 Stories in Motion by @nimbusdance: This engaging and educational assembly performance combines the expressive power of dance and movement with key SEL principles and ELA storytelling techniques, creating an interactive and meaningful experience for students.
🥁 Drum it Out by @joshrobinsondrums: Award winning presenter/percussionist Josh Robinson demonstrates how he uses drumming and music to build authentic connection, increase empathy and communication, sharpen self and group awareness, and highlight everyone’s role and value in a community setting.
💃 Feel, Think, Dance! by Laura Marchese: By connecting engaging and fun movement activities to the SEL competencies of identity, belonging, and agency, students have opportunities for making creative choices, developing their individual creativity, and artistic collaboration.

Rain or shine, the show must go on!

Last Sunday’s Montclair Dance Festival brought incredible dancing, amazing artists, and a whole lot of determination! Even with rain throughout most of the performances, the dancers kept going. Between shows, dancers even jumped in to help wipe down the stage to keep everyone safe. That’s dedication and community in action!
