Happy Mother’s Weekend to the most amazing woman that raised these 2 beautiful moms, one to a furry dog named King and the other to an awesome grandson, with a daughter on the way! Angela, there is no other woman I would ever have wanted to have on this journey thru life. Thank you for giving me Nina Bean and Gabber. I love you so much! ❤️

This holiday season filled my heart in ways I didn’t even know I needed. From the laughter, the conversations, the small moments, and the people who showed up — I truly felt surrounded by love, support, and so much joy.

And yes… every single holiday outfit had its moment. ✨ From cozy layers to sparkles, festive textures, and all the looks that made me feel like me — getting dressed became part of the magic. A little reminder that joy can be found in self-expression, even in the simplest moments.

I’m grateful for every hug, every smile, every shared memory, and every reminder that I have beautiful people in my life. These moments don’t just pass by — they stay with you, they shape you, and they remind you how blessed you are.

Here’s to slowing down, soaking it all in, and carrying this gratitude (and great style) into the new year.
My heart is full. Truly, deeply grateful. #VibesbyMariaElena

This is what truly makes my heart happy. The smiles, the laughs, the banter, the togetherness is what makes this life so beautiful, incredibly grateful for each one of them. WE DIDNT REALIZE WE WERE MAKING MEMORIES, WE JUST KNEW WE WERE HAVING FUN ~ Pooh Bear

Yesterday we celebrated @simply_josh99 Birthday 🎂. His actual birthday isn’t until Wednesday but hey he says it’s his birthday month 😂 It was Chicken N Pickle for the win and the theme was ERAS OF JOSH. We all dressed up as different version of this great kid! We had 21 Josh, Buzz Lightyear Josh, Bleach blonde Josh, Blonde perm Josh, Middle school Josh, Butter (inside Joke) Josh, Passport Jesus Josh, OReilly’s Josh, McDonald’s Josh. We added a Sprite cake (Josh collected Lebron special edition Sprites for a bit) and of course we topped it with a number 8 candle. Back in the day we didn’t buy candles so if you celebrated a birthday at my house we just used the #8 for everyone regardless of your actual age 😂. At the end of the day WE LOVE ❤️ YOU JOSH, every version of you and we can’t wait to see all the future versions of you!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉

This week keeps getting sweeter. Over the past three years, I am continually left exhausted and in awe of what our team does.

It’s incredible how much work goes into this one event, and the team of all-stars that we need to make it a success. Thank you to everyone who made it possible - from our amazing title sponsor and event owner @adventhealthkc, to our small but mighty team of four @amosric @colie0525 @brycelievens9, to our hardworking interns, ops staff, the supportive sponsors, and my favorite - our 500+ volunteers. You all have become like family.

So thankful to enjoy what I do, with the best people. But let’s be honest, this year Mother Nature was the real MVP! 🙌🏼 followed by KC’s own @harryhiggs1991 in a close second - that eagle was 🤯😱
