Repentance has been made out to be this big scary thing often driving us away from what it actually is.
Repentance is a posture or a place in which we turn ourselves towards the Lord. It’s a ‘turning’ point towards the one whose arms are wide open, saying. “I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There’s a real beauty in repentance where we should recognise that Mercy is granted to the one who is postured in this way.

We go through life so often holding onto “stuff” and we often try to brave it all alone. Scripture tells us of a ‘peace’-
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Do you know that freedom is on the other side of your vulnerability. We can’t heal what we don’t know and we can’t fix what we don’t speak.

Friends there are some things you were never meant to carry and ‘hold on to’. So these repentance runs serve as a space where we invite the Holy Spirit to speak, and for us to share about some of life’s challenges. May we all recieve mercy and peace.

“For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Before the team conquered the hill, testing needed to be done😤

All things are possible when you set your mind to it! Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬ ‭says -“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

May we always stay focused, striving towards Gods purpose with faith. Keep moving forward and aim for the ultimate reward, eternal life with Christ✝️🙌🏽.

Auckland has blessed me with beautiful people. A few in my time are ones where you meet once in a lifetime and one of them is Rev Elder Fiatepa Fa’ae’e.

I first met Rev when we needed help with our Ava ceremony at Xero. Gloria told us to come to NSEFKS and we rocked up in time for Sunday school and Rev was our teacher 🤣

After that day Rev invested his energy, time and knowledge to us and I will be forever grateful for Rev and the Fa’aee family!

Thank you Rev for everything you have done for me. Telling me off, correcting me ,accepting my extra-ness with a laugh and leading me to be the best I can be.

Ia Manuia Lou Malaga Rev.🥹🕊️💜
