Annual Fourth of July cookout 🇺🇸🍴 Every year, I make Moroccan grilled chicken — naturally gluten-free, wildly flavorful, and an absolute pain (we’re talking 12+ ingredients and time to marinade ). Hidden gem in Plymouth 🙌 This tiny spot has been a Plymouth staple now since it opened in 2007! Chef Casey, @redkracken , always has a unique and mouthwatering menu! Impossible to go in and not get the jerk chicken nachos or banana wings (honestly sometime I go to Blue-eyed just for those!) but the Rasta pasta, rice bowls, mahi tacos, steak tips & Amazing burger (excuse my uncle's rude middle finger while I'm filming...he's more like having a pesky older brother 🙄😜❤️) *pro tip- if you like shellfish definitely get the lobster and crab creole! Our season has kicked off quite early this year and it’s been an exhilarating start so far! 🥰 Welcoming both new and returning guests has been an absolute joy and we are excited about the rest of the season. ❤️❤️ As a first timer to Italy Jennifer stayed with us @casacolombatuscany, sipped and savoured her first Prosecco, discovered Crodino and climbed the Leaning Tower. Jennifer’s visit coincided with Vicopisano’s walking and hiking festival so she also witnessed the beauty of the countryside trails and hills. Jaci is a returnee to Vicopisano 4 times in all she stayed at the cute studio apartment Nido Bianco just a few doors up from Casa Colomba. Jaci’s time was more about relaxing and reconnecting with the locals she’s met over the years although she did go to visit the famous Pasta Martelli factory in nearby Lari a place which she had not been able to squeeze in on her previous visits! Jennifer and Jaci’s overlapping visits led to memorable moments shared over aperitivo and delicious meals. We went to Montecatini Terme to collect our silver plated cutlery. Once home, I set to work cleaning it. Here’s how… Line a non-metal bowl with aluminium foil. Sprinkle in a layer of washing soda crystals. Pour in enough boiling water to cover. The mixture will fizz. Add cutlery or any silver items that have become tarnished. Wait 5-10 minutes. You will see the tarnish lift off. Using rubber gloves, remove silver items and wash well in soapy water. Polish dry. Because I had a lot of cutlery, this method used 1 cup of soda crystals and 2 kettlefuls of water. If you have smaller/fewer items, adjust the amounts accordingly.
