✨ Honoured and so happy to be part of the shortlist for @womenstreetphotographers ❤️🙏 As an emerging artist, I feel truly privileged to be part of this selection alongside so many talented photographers, both established and emerging. I’m especially excited about the opportunity to learn from those who have walked this path before me, to discover new perspectives, gain knowledge, meet inspiring people and hopefully be guided by those who have so much to share. ❤️ I’m curious, eager to learn, and truly looking forward to this incredible experience and everything it may bring. 🤍 Thank you @hirokohirota @ninakling @gulnara.samoilova for this beautiful recognition and for creating a space where artists can connect, learn and grow together. 🤩Feeling grateful, excited and ready for what’s next. ✨

As part of RomePhotoLab 2026, we are proud to present The Sharpest Edge — Stories from the Street, a special exhibition celebrating the extraordinary vision of the photographers who will join the Festival as Jury Members, Masterclass Instructors, and Workshop Speakers. Rather than asking them to follow a specific theme or visual language, we chose to give each artist complete creative freedom. The result is an exhibition that reflects the many faces of contemporary street photography — different cultures, different approaches, one shared passion for observing life as it unfolds. Each photographer is represented by two carefully selected images, creating a journey through unique perspectives, decisive moments, and powerful visual storytelling. 📍 Villa Altieri, Rome 🗓️ October 2–4, 2026 Exhibiting artists: * Matt Stuart * Siegfried Hansen * Mark Fearneley * Nina Kling * Hersley Ven Casero * Jonathan Jasberg * Ximena Echague * Ana Chicovitz * Vanessa Pallotta * Pia Parolin * Francesca Chiacchio * Gwen Julia * Alonso Diaz de Anda * Citlali Medal * Catherine Auzuret * Serkan Tekin These photographers are also part of the international network behind RomePhotoLab 2026, alongside some of the world’s leading street photography communities, including Street Avengers, Street Badass, Street Macadam, Street Photography Brazil and Postal 5.6. Join us in Rome for a weekend dedicated to photography, inspiration, and the stories that only the street can tell. #RomePhotoLab #StreetPhotography #PhotographyFestival #Rome #PhotoExhibition

It was July in the South of France and it seemed as if half the country was heading to Arles. As Mia MacFarlane, co-founder of @irkmagazine said, “This week, it’s the place to be in France.” This was my first Recontres De La Photographie d’Arles. I had been invited to review portfolios at the main festival and was looking forward to meeting the international roster of reviewees. Everyone who had been to the festival spoke of the talent, the endless exhibitions, and of course the parties. The week did not disappoint. The twenty photographers that I met with worked in fashion, fine art, documentary, and editorial photography. They heralded from fourteen different countries. That alone provided a survey of contemporary photographic perspectives from around the world... Featured photographers: Rafaelle Lorgeril - @rafaell.e Nina Welch-Kling – @ninakling Aman Alam @alampanah Read the full article at IRK magazine online. Link in bio!
