Part 2 of my series: Your engagement session shouldn’t feel like a photoshoot... it should feel like your favorite date. 🤍
When I asked these two what felt the most them, the answer wasn’t a Pinterest-worthy location.
It was Osterville.
She spent every summer growing up here, worked at the local candy shop on Main Street, and they still come back whenever they can.
So instead of planning a photoshoot, we planned a date.
We grabbed drinks at their favorite dive bar, wandered the streets filled with childhood memories, popped champagne on the beach, and ended the night running into the ocean after sunset.
This is why I always encourage my couples to choose places that already mean something to them.
When you’re somewhere familiar, surrounded by nostalgia and your favorite memories, you naturally relax. You stop worrying about posing perfectly and start enjoying each other.
Your engagement session shouldn’t feel like another box to check off your wedding planning to-do list.
It should feel personal.
It should feel effortless.
It should feel like you.
Because years from now, I don’t just want you to love your photos—I want you to remember the night they came from. 🤍

Where are the best hydrangeas you’ve seen on the Cape and Islands this season? 💜 Comment below! This spot in Osterville is always a showstopper. 🤩 We can’t help but think of our Hydrangea Bloom Necklaces when we see these blue, purple, and pink blooms! 🪻 Link to shop our newest hydrangea pieces in our bio. 😉 Via @ninathepinta #capeology #capecod #osterville
