My name is Ninett Llorente and I am the Events Coordinator for APPA for this 2020-2021 school year. I am a Senior who is a Psychology major and Biology minor and will be applying to PA school during the 2021-2022 application cycle. I have experience as a medical scribe with Scrivas scribe company at Baptist Miami Cancer Institute And Miami Cardiovascular Institute for over 2 years and hope to soon gain experience as a Medical Assistant as well. I am excited to continue to share Pre-PA resources and tips so we can all reach our goals of becoming Physician Assistants. Feel free to send me a message for any questions you may have. Some fun facts about me is that I enjoy cooking and baking recipes off Pinterest and love dancing!

One week into 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐏𝐀 opening and it may have those of you applying this cycle feeling overwhelmed and underprepared! 𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞. Filling that application out is a lot of work and entirely nerve-racking at times. Im happy to offer any advice on how to best prepare for this, but I just want to all to know you’re not alone, we all went through this process and felt this way, and 𝐢𝐭’𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭 when you get that acceptance letter! ⁣

So in the nature of full transparency, I thought I’d share with you what my stats looked like for 𝘮𝘺 𝘊𝘈𝘚𝘗𝘈 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.⁣ Swipe over if you’re interested. ⁣
Thanks to @mackenzielynnr for the stats template- she is also a current PA-S2 that y’all should check out! ⁣ ⁣⁣

I got roasted pretty bad for going on this tour and taking pictures of a beer can at the beach instead of getting in. Well I’d say it was worth it.

Happy birthday to my literal sunshine! You are so beautiful and so strong and you remind me of my momma (even tho we are married) you’ve been there through thick and thin and I know things are really thick and sticky right now. I just want you to know that I LOVE YOU. Things are gonna get stickier but it’s coolios because I will be here to help clean the messes! You are a shooting star 💫💓
