SURPRISE OPENER REVEALED 😱🖤

We are so excited to announce that @ava_gevers will be opening GHOSTOWN this Halloween 👻

Ava has been part of the Durban scene since she was a young girl and has grown into a beautiful songwriter ✨ She played in Bedrock Spirit until the band came to an end with the passing of local legend Matt Allen 🕊️ Now she’s stepping out on her own, and we can’t wait for you to hear her 💜

Soft guitar, low haunting vocals, and slow, sad songs that stay with you long after the last note 🎸🌙 Her new single “Laughing without a heart” is out now 🎧

This is her first show as a solo artist, and we couldn’t think of a better night for it 🥹

She joins @mousetheband 🐭 @taekwondosleepover 🥋 @heat_deth_ ♨️ @ninerefrain 🤘🏻 and @pinkslip_band_ 💕

📅 Saturday 31 October
⏰ 19:00 till 02:00
📍 The Loft @westown_shongweni, Upper Highway

Phase one is SOLD OUT 🔥 Tickets are R100 on Quicket and the price goes up when this phase is gone 🎟️ Link in bio 🔗

Our “Nothing Is Punk Anymore” National Tour went off better than we could have imagined!

You showed up, rocked out and gave us so much love! It’s not easy doing all of this without management, label or crew - so we appreciate everyone that supported us and made it well worth while.

KZN - you showed us again why you are our favourite spot to play. No shade to other provinces, but you really know how to throw down.

Massive thanks to @loopevolutionrecords , @thewestvillewarehouse , @robsonsrealbeer , @officiallyyoufirst , @sonsofhurricane , @hoursfromdurban , @ninerefrain , @durbanrockcity , @sentientpatchofhaze, @ernestpretorius , @roachy031 and all our Durbs pals! We love you and we’ll see soon ⚡️
