Some people change lives with words.

A teacher.

A parent.

A mentor.

A librarian.

An author.

Someone just came to mind.

Tag them below. ❤️

I am raising my glass,

For another author from my hometown to flourish in this country,
For another young generation reading and celebrating Buya Hamka,
For Malaysian authors and their new releases,
For international authors who get to see another version of their books in another tongue,
For fellow readers, may their piles never run out of books to read.

I am raising my glass,
For yet another week full of laughs, love, talks, and chatters.

I am raising my glass,
Until next year, PBAKL!

𐙚⋆.PBAKL 2026˙⋆✮

This year's PBAKL was truly one of the most memorable experiences for me.

As someone yang selalunya malu untuk approach orang baru, I never thought I would have the courage to meet and talk to so many people this year (well takdela ramai mana pun). Kalau dibandingkan dengan tahun lepas, saya cuma datang, jalan-jalan, beli buku, kemudian balik. But this year was differentin the best way possible.

I got the chance to meet new friends, beramah mesra dengan ramai author and create so many heartwarming memories sepanjang PBAKL. Every conversation, every smile and every little interaction made the experience feel even more special.

One thing yang paling saya suka adalah bila ada author yang recognise kita hehehe. It may seem like a small thing, but honestly, it means a lot. Such a wholesome and heartwarming feeling that I didn't expect.

Terima kasih kepada semua yang sempat bertegur sapa, berbual, berkongsi cerita dan meluangkan masa sepanjang PBAKL kali ini. You guys made the experience so much more meaningful than just buying books.

Kalau diberi peluang, I wish I had more time. Masih ramai author dan rakan ii yang saya nak jumpa tetapi tak sempat. Hopefully next year, ada rezeki dan kesempatan untuk bertemu lebih ramai orang lagi.

And to myself, thank you for being brave enough to step out of your comfort zone. Mungkin nampak kecil, tetapi bagi seseorang yang selalu malu untuk memulakan perbualan, this means a lot.

Until next PBAKL, insya-Allah.

Akan datang, kita cuba jumpa lebih ramai orang, cipta lebih banyak kenangan dan kumpul lebih banyak cerita untuk dikenang.

See you at the next PBAKL! 📚🎀
