ESC 2024 ARM🇦🇲

The 17th participant of Armenia in this contest was the group LADANIVA.
The main members of the group were'
Jacqueline Baghdasaryan-vocals, singer
Louis Thomas-guitar, multi-instrumentalist,
and during the concert tour as well as during Eurovision they were joined by'
Ninon Thomas-backing vocals, keyboards,
OLouis Dessen-electric guitar,
Pierre Castelart-drums,
Romain Pasquet-bass guitarist.

The contest that year was held in Malmö, Sweden.
LADANIVA performed at the contest with the song
"JACQUE". The authors of the song's music were Jacqueline Baghdasaryan,
Louis Thomas, Audrey Leclerc.

The song is a protest against social stereotypes. It criticizes the rules imposed on girls (“be smart”, “don’t talk too much”, “act like a girl”).
The main appeal of the song is to be free and independent.
The fact that the group performed on stage without artificial effects, demonstrating high-quality live music, was highly appreciated at Eurovision.

Despite all this, LADANIVAN took 8th place in the final.

The most colorful of our participants @la.jako

@ladaniva.ladaniva They proved one simple thing: you don't need to criticize the song or the artist if you haven't seen him on that stage and his performance yet.
Yes, as soon as the song JAKO was released, people started criticizing and saying that the song is not for Eurovision, many even said it wouldn't make it to the final, but come and see, it turned out to be the complete opposite.🇦🇲

So don't criticize just by listening to the song if you haven't heard him perform live on that stage yet.
