3PEAT with Gravy Babies! I’m beyond grateful for every single person on this team.

I started my journey with Gfam on G-train and worked my way up for years to get to Gravy, and to think that this chapter is now coming to a close is hard to believe. Gfam came to me when I needed it the most, it reminded me why I love to dance and welcomed me when I was struggling to find a community where I fit in. To all my teammates, thank you for bringing me comfort through all the stress and anxiety and accepting me all these years. You guys inspire me in every way as a dancer and person, and I’m forever thankful to have you guys in my life.

To my directors and mentors, thank you for helping me achieve more than I thought I was capable of. Even when I felt like I wasn’t at my best, you continued believing in me and pushing me, and I can confidently say I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am now without your guidance.

Yesterday was a dream come true. Honestly, this set has summed up so much of my life. My family and I have sacrificed a lot to make my dreams come true and I’m so happy all of the hard work is paying off. I’ve grown so much as a dancer this past year and I thank G-Train and GRaVy so much for welcoming me to the family. It has been an amazing experience so far and I’m so thankful to everyone who has helped me get to this level in my dance journey.

My heart is full of gratitude for all of my fellow GraVy Babies. Your work ethic, your fun personalities, and your love of dance is so inspiring. You all motivate me and push me to be better. Iron sharpens iron and I’m forever thankful to be apart of your team.

Thank you to all of the choreographers for our set, I loved learning every single piece, every practice was exciting for me. my first ever performance with gravy babies, this was by far the most stressful exhausting but also best experience of my entire life. i had so much anxiety and would cry almost every night after rehearsal because i was so stressed about this set and i had so much doubt myself if i was ever gonna be able to pull through such a difficult routine and i would always ask myself if i was the right person to fit in with this team or i made the right decision joining this kind of hip hop crew, but ykw i pulled through all the hours of long and painful rehearsals, all the drilling, all the hard work, and i finished this dance on stage as strong as i could. beside all the exhaustion, i had the best time working with such amazing, talented, and well-rounded dancers who i truly look up to so much. me being on gravy babies are words i NEVER thought would’ve come out of my mouth. this team was something i’ve been dreaming of for nearly 2 years and i’m just so insanely grateful that there were people who trusted me that i’m capable enough to be on this team and to be in the space with such an incredible community. we brought the slime and old english to vibe jrs and got 3rd place which is outstanding. i really hope my experience being on gravy doesn’t stop here, i will continue to work harder and become the dancer i’ve always wanted to be. #ilovegfam

and the BIGGEST thank you to @marcadizon and @davidlimberlake you guys are such amazing directors and you both give the best advice for us. i know you’re both very hard on all of us and as a very sensitive person who feels things very deeply, i do sometimes feel hurt by your words or when you yell at us but deep down i know you both are just trying to push us to become stronger and be the best versions of ourselves as dancers. i appreciate the both of you so much. thank you for trusting me to be a member of gravy babies and be able to pull through this set when i was super stressed about it🫶

Exploring, Expanding, Experiencing, but also Returning. Returning to dance this year after injury has brought me more than I could have imagined. My dance family has expanded and I’ve been able to have amazing experiences with some really talented and kind people. I’m forever grateful to be welcome with open arms by the @young_alchemists and @cubcakesdance. Beyond dance, journaling weekly with @thaliaramos has taught me so much about myself and has helped me see my goals clearer. Looking forward to more experiences in the new year.
