This year, we set out to challenge something fundamental: What if whisky could truly reflect where it comes from? That question became our Terroir Series. A project built on pushing boundaries, rethinking conventions, and exploring the deep connection between whisky maturation and place. Last night, that journey was recognized with Brand Innovator of the Year 2026 at the Icons of Whisky Awards. In times like these, this recognition means a great deal. Not just for the result, but for the path we chose to take to get here. This award belongs to our team, to the people who dared to think differently, and to everyone who believes in what we’re building. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We’re honored. “It’s only a bottle of whisky.” Or so it seems. A new gin series. Highball cans. The launch of our Apex Terroir range. More than 100 masterclasses. Dozens of whisky shows. Over 8,000 visitors, across 500+ distillery tours. And that’s before we even speak about the local barley project, the people behind it, and the awards that humbled us this year. 2025 was a lot. May 2026 be even more. So maybe it’s not just a bottle of whisky… Happy New Year from your friends at M&H 🥃
