They call her Lady Dark, a name she kept out of sheer laziness.

Don’t be fooled, this nonchalance is just the lid on a volcano.

She prefers the last subway and rain-soaked rooftops to any throne. She lounges around in that oversized orange bomber jacket that makes her look like a slightly grunge art student, hiding her secret beneath nylon.

Her wings have run out of trees to rest on, so she uses the ledges of skyscrapers. She’s the symbol of a generation that rejects labels. The « weirdo » who’d rather sit on a bench with a disdainful expression than conform to expectations.
Her message to the world is simple, direct, and resonates in every stitch of her fishnet: « I’m here, and I don’t give a damn. » 🤘 It was an absolute pleasure to bring this rebellious vision to life for #DTIYS @Nirryc on the amazing OC by @nirryc (based on @markocomix participation)

How do you imagine the « Weirdo » of your city? Tell me in the comments!

Omg, I actually have art to show! I've been working on and off on this for literal WEEKS in-between college work, so glad to finally have her finished.

Just finished my entry for #giftdtiys by @nirryc
I really like the cool lip and eye design for the makeup, and this gave me a good excuse to practice drawing clothes that are close to the body, as well as some perspective work.
I hope I did your character justice!
