With the launch of my new brand & website last week, came the Art Shop - my platform for creating usable art you’ll hold in your hands. I have a hard time envisioning my personal work hanging on someone’s wall (maybe that’s because I just don’t hang any art myself haha, I love for the architecture and materials of my home to speak). From day 1 I’ve always imagined a book (finally a WIP but, I need years still 🙃). This is where the concept for my art shop was born. I wanted to create art pieces you can use in your daily life. Not just look at on a wall… but hold in your hands. Little romantic reminders that this life, is the art. Reading, cooking, game night with friends or family… my first ideas, with a bookmark pack being the pioneer concept-to-reality piece. Edition I of these bookmarks features 3 images of my muse, @nirvana.boodhoo, taken in 2020, and printed on 150# coated matte paper with soft touch laminating. The Nirvana Marks. They feel so good. I wanted to share these images, and how they translated to existing in my hands and in between pages of fairytales and fantasy. The last image is one I’ve never shared before. Thought I’d include a little surprise in the pack. The back side of the bookmarks includes snippets of my papa’s handwritten photo notes that I found in his camera bag. My papa is one of the main reasons I’m a dream chasing, believe in the unbelievable, don’t let “no” stop you, kinda girl. I’ll tell you more about his story soon. For now, you can hold a piece of his magic spirit, too. This first image became a pillar in the launch of my new brand, and I chose it because I shot that photo to represent staying with myself, honest and long. So long my hair has grown to the ground, unwavering. So long that I’ve seen the depths, the less beautiful, the difficult, the unclear… and loved, anyway. In that, is radical peace. This photo became the perfect symbol for this new era. I’ll ship the next batch of Nirvana Mark orders on Wednesday 6.12. 🫶🏼✨

Some photos and BTS from this styled shoot hosted by the talented @scarlettandflora 🪻 Did this shoot 8 weeks postpartum, and it was so refreshing. As much as I love spending time with Emma, having this creative outlet was much needed. I’ve been so blessed to bring her along to many shoots, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who welcomes Emma and offers their encouragement. It’s sweet and special to be able to continue doing what I love with Emma by my side and of course with the help of my husband as well 🫶🏻 - Photography: yours truly Florals and design: @scarlettandflora Venue: @urbandaisyevents Hair: @the_undoneupdo Makeup: @jesus.arte Bridal Gown: Rosie by @colbyjohnbridal @ivorybridalco Rentals: @lineneffects Cake: @emilygracecakes Model: @nirvanaboodhoo
