Looking back to July and our first CAPAS Summer Stock production, CARRIE The Musical! The show was an incredible success thanks to our amazing cast and creative team who worked tirelessly for two weeks. We’re very proud of this group and look forward to more Summer Stock productions at CAPAS!

So full of love and a very special bday!!!! Spent so much time with my pals and Sheila also got to have her own vacations with her favorite people! The simple things brought a lot of joy through the end of the summer :)

It’s a tough job sometimes, but it has afforded me some very very special moments. I’ve had the absolute pleasure and privilege to be a small part of the journey of so many wonderful young performers, including this special one here. I’ve been working with @maddieweisbach for about 11 years now. For her senior year, I had the idea to force to her sing with me and have never worked harder to not absolutely lose my shit crying on a stage 😂 There’s a lot of reasons why this piece is special, I’m going to list a few:

- My co-director @nirvin91 and I went to @ccm_musicaltheatre together and I love singing with him (read: forcing him to sing with me)
- I’m wearing the dress I wore for our BFA Senior Showcase and I *think* Nate is wearing his Legally Blonde suit?
- the OG Rona @lisahowardnyc is a CCMer
- Maddie is wearing red, the color of @classactpas and CCM
- Maddie committed to CCM today. The newest Bearcat 😭

Generations of CCM on one stage together. Maddie, we couldn’t be prouder. You did it. ❤️ 🐾 🖤

Last Friday night…

Thank you to all of the staff for putting on a fun, successful Faculty Café to raise money for our CAPAS productions! More importantly, thank you to everyone who attended or donated to support the event, our studio, and the talented children of @classactpas!

Take a look at some of the highlights from the performance!

Had such a fun time with @classactpas this weekend at the Faculty Cafe! It’s been YEARS since we’ve done this song! A nice little blast from the past!
