POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last year I ran a faster time.
This year, I had more fun.

Some races are about the clock and others remind us why we never stop.

Movement is a gift and I’m grateful for an abundant stock.
However, smiling, laughing, and sharing miles with good people can heal parts of me that training alone cannot.

With everything this year has brought, this weekend grounded me.

My wife had the honor of serving as the Host and the 5k MC. Giving every participant who crossed the finish line uplifting energy. I got to lace them up, compete, and be surrounded by people who showed up for something bigger than themselves.

Every Vendors, volunteers, families, runners, walkers, and supporters all came together for a beautiful cause to help.

Congratulations to Nikki, the Thompson family, and everyone involved in making the 3rd Annual Nise’s Race a success. Held in honor of Catherine Denise “Nise” Thompson, the event continues her legacy by promoting health, community, and empowerment.

To my competitors, athletes, and men chasing goals: don’t underestimate the value of joy. We spend so much time chasing the next PR, the next contract, the next promotion, the next win, that we forget why we started.

Don’t be afraid to value of humility, either.
Life has a way of teaching us that strength isn’t always found in pushin harder. However there is always strength in listening. In learning. In accepting help. In not being stubborn enough to believe you have to carry every burden by yourself.
A lone warrior still needs a sounding board.
This race reminded me that being grounded, healthy, present, and surrounded by good people is Winestry!

Hope to see you next year

As the Host and social media Manager, I got to capture the hugs, the laughter, the dancing, the high fives, and all the moments in between.

But my favorite part?
Watching people show up for something bigger than themselves.

Every year, Nise’s Race @nisesrace reminds me that the most powerful part isn’t the miles.
It’s the people.

Thank you for allowing me to witness, capture, and celebrate this beautiful day.

❤️ More Than Miles. A Lasting Legacy.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported Landon’s Jus De Vie. Whether you stopped by for a juice, shared our page, told a friend, or just showed love—we appreciate you.

Seeing our community show up the way you did meant everything. Your support helped make this first event one to remember, and we’re excited for what’s next.

This is just the beginning. 🍊✨ #smoothieking #nisesrace #LandonsJusDeVie #ThankYou #SupportLocal

The sun showed up today, and so did Nise’s legacy. 💜

@nikki66, #TheThompsonFoundation and the @nisesrace community helped raise more than $10,000 to support the advancement of services through the Tanner Health Foundation, benefiting cancer patients and women’s preventive care in the community.

Proof that when people come together around purpose, the impact reaches far beyond the finish line. 💜

A special thank you to Nikki for trusting me to help support, engage, and interview the sponsors, partners, and community champions who invest in making this event possible. It is an honor to play a small role in helping tell the story behind the impact and advance a cause that continues to make a meaningful difference in Villa Rica and beyond.

Team Kam completed their first local 5K today! Nise’s race was hilly but the vibes were awesome! It was so special to watch Ashley take the lead. My heart melted when Kam turned around on one of the hills and said “Momma, you got this!” He knows how hard she’s working for him💙Team Kam is way more than just who does the race! This whole extended family shares a precious bond with each other & it’s such a blessing for me to watch it grow!
