🌸 Flowers… just because!

One thing I’m learning in this season of my life is that everything beautiful doesn’t have to be attached to a birthday, an anniversary, an accomplishment, or somebody else deciding you deserve it.

Sometimes, you create the beautiful moment for yourself.

I recently started a bi-weekly floral subscription with @89blooms , a Black-owned floral shop in East St. Louis, and my very first arrangement arrived Tuesday. 💐

And chileeee… I’m excited. 😂🌷

Every two weeks, fresh flowers will show up as a reminder to bring a little more beauty, softness and intention into my everyday life. There’s something powerful about walking into your home and seeing fresh flowers that you chose to give yourself.

No special occasion.
No waiting.
No “one day.”

Just because I like flowers.
Just because they make me smile.
Just because supporting a Black-owned local business matters. And most importantly…

Just because I can. 🌸

Here’s to romanticizing the life we already have while we’re building the life we’re praying and working for.

Thank you, @89blooms , for my first arrangement. I already can’t wait to see what comes next. 💐✨

Start your subscription today, and tell them The Plug 🔌 sent you. 💋

FUEL YOUR DREAMS AUTO SHOW 4 — in partnership with NASCAR and World Wide Technology Raceway. 🏁🔥

Another one in the books! Over the last eight years, we’ve built a community that simply won’t let us have a bad show. No matter the weather, the time or the occasion, y’all show up, bring the energy and rise to it every single time.

Yesterday was no different. Cars, trucks and bikes came out, families pulled up, and our people helped us turn NASCAR Weekend into another experience we’ll remember for a long time.

To everybody who registered, volunteered, partnered with us, brought the family or simply came through and showed love — THANK YOU! Fuel Your Dreams continues to grow because y’all continue to show up for Rides N’ School Supplies. 🤝🏾🏁

4 down. See y’all at the Cup race today! 😎

Hey Siri, play ‘Won’t Stop’ by Gunna 🎧

8️⃣ years rolling. Through every trial, every setback, every lesson, every moment that could’ve slowed us down… the wheels kept turning. 🏁

We’re blessed to still be here, still growing, and still doing it for the community. Year 9 coming soon. We won’t stop. 🙏🏾

All smiles at RNSS8 😁

One of the best parts of RNSS is watching our own kids and families get excited about it every year. They know RNSS, they look forward to it, and they get to grow with it. How could we not be charged up? ❤️

The team. The family. The next generation.

Updating our “THIS IS THEM” picture. ❤️

The RNSS Team.

The people behind the planning, the phone calls, the early mornings, the late nights, the problem solving, the laughs, the stress, and most importantly—the love poured into this mission year after year.

Different roles. Different strengths. One purpose.

This is them. This is us. This is RNSS. 🏁

Yesterday reminded us that Rides N’ School Supplies has never just been about cars. ❤️🏁

The weather challenged us from the moment setup began, forcing us to pivot and bring the experience inside. But one thing never changed… the mission. 💪🏾

The gym quickly filled with backpacks 🎒, scholarships 🎓, free haircuts 💈, community resources 🤝, music 🎶, laughter 😄, and hope ❤️. Then, almost on cue, the sun found us… ☀️ and so did the community.

The way St. Louis continues to show up for RNSS is something we’ll never take for granted. The phone calls 📱, text messages 💬, prayers 🙏🏾, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, car enthusiasts, and every single family who came out despite the forecast… thank you.

Because of YOU, hundreds of students are heading into the school year with confidence, families left with valuable resources, and dreams were fueled through $10,000+ in scholarships. 🎓✨

St. Louis… we love you. ❤️

Now we’ll catch our breath 😮‍💨… relive these memories 📸… and start getting ready for RNSS9. 🏁

What a beautiful morning at Coffee & Cars with @latteloungestl 🤎We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of their Community Day, bringing a few fly rides out, connecting with great people, and sharing what RNSS is all about 🏁

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our activation, showed love, and took the time to learn more about our mission. Hearing so many people say, “We’ll see y’all next weekend!” was the perfect way to wrap up the morning. ❤️🏁

…and the beat goes on. 🎶

Next stop: RNSS8. The 8th Annual Rides N’ School Supplies Charity Car & Bike Show, Powered by NASCAR.

We’ll see you August 1.
