• 𝗍 𝗐 𝗉 𝗋 𝖾 𝗍 𝗋 𝖾 𝖺 𝗍 • . . every so often moments happen in life, that you didn’t even know you needed. this weekend was one of them. __ the best time being away with worship leaders from across canada. __ soul refreshing to be in a space with like minded people, to have real & authentic conversations, and to be able to be vulnerable together. __ i’m thankful for the incredible humans i got to meet, the pure moments of worship we had together, and to learn from one of the most real pastors i’ve ever met. __ while the process of processing is just beginning, my heart is so full! ♥

I escaped from the city for a few days for a Worship Leader Retreat. I spent time fellowshipping with 34 other worshippers (singers, musicians, pastors and tech) and to say it was good feels like a major understatement. I’m still processing but here are some of my notes: • worship leaders are tour guides, pointing people’s attention to Jesus. #anonymity • the secret to worship is the secret place. #secrecy • our gift should remind us of the gift giver #humility • find yourself in His word, not in what you do #identity • have a plan for where you’re taking the people #philosophy • worship now is rehearsal for an eternity of worship. #Rehearsethepeoplewell • assess who/what we’re serving. #wecantworshipworship. • the presence of God is the home humanity longs for. #homeistheprize God is good and He is moving across this land. Be encouraged. Also: • @andirozier is dope. May God continually bless him. • If you’re not following the @worshiprojectontario team get on it! They’re doing a good work.
