@theextramileloveland group ride tonight was great, even when @zach_ofalltradez got a flat, we all got it fixed fast and we each got 23-27miles in.

From @nitebrain

---
I've been through a few different bikes and frame materials during that time and the Crosscheck has to be my favorite ride. I've used it both on and off road, taken it on centuries, hauled groceries in an attached trailer, had it set up fixed and geared. Here's my 2015 Crosscheck in its current form as a 1x10 with 35c Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires, WTB Volt saddle, SRAM Rival shifter & X9 rear derailleur, and Salsa Cowchippers.

Some kinda unholy trinity - a thing of beauty. "Nothing" action figure by @nitebrain (thanks to @righteous_james for heads up on that!).

Starting today with My War and yet another one of my favorites the Henry Rollins punk jock figure. This one was made by @nitebrain and I snapped it up immediately on it’s release! Also for clarity, Henry’s work ethic and attitude were ones I related to and drew upon heavily and though this figure is done in fun it actually represents what it is about Henry that inspired me so much. #henryrollins #blackflag #holymountainprinting #mywar #wutangclan

Much as I still don’t like to talk or think about this chapter of band life & the things/people lost in its wake, I cannot get over how cool it is that @nitebrain made this exist. All credit where it’s due, British occultist Dennis Wheatley made it exist in 1934, then Richard Matheson and Hammer House Of Horror brought it to life in 1968, but @nitebrain nailed its graven image in 2020. 1/1. So awesome, thanks so much. #toysabouthardcoreabouthorroraboutblackmagic #denniswheatley #thedevilridesout #hegoat #baphometsofinstagram #livelovesummondemons
