There is no one like my mom. Besides currently battling stage 4 cancer, my mom has done so many other things that I deem priceless. Such as, teaching me to stick up for myself, and when I’m not doing that, to stick up for the underdog. To trust myself, even when everyone around me has a different idea of what is best for me. She taught me to ask for help, as well as help myself when I felt like I couldn’t take another step forward. But most of all, my mom teaches me how to love. How to love the people that enter and exit my life, and how to love myself. I didn’t do anything special to get this life with my mom. She’s just a part of the unique life journey I am supposed to have. And for that, I am beyond grateful.

I got to take Frank to his basketball tournament in San Diego a few weeks ago. They worked so hard and took home 2nd place. We love his teammates, coach, and club! And we got to see my sister and family while there too!

i am thankful for a lot of things and many people, but the person i’m most grateful for is my mom. my mom is the strongest, kindest, most selfless person i know. almost a year ago my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. she has been doing chemo therapy and fighting this terrible disease ever since her diagnosis. i can’t even explain in words how proud of my mom i am. she is the strongest person i know. i lookup to my mom the most. my mom is my best friend and i’m so beyond grateful for her. i love nitnatmama so much, i believe everyone needs a nitnatmama in their life!💖🎀
