A year ago, we sold Ultra Coffeebar, the little Asheville café that changed my life in so many ways. The business I poured my heart into for almost a decade—my dream business for so long.

When we first bought it, it was a disaster, and honestly, I had no idea how any of it would work out. But my mom—truly the best business partner a girl could ask for—and I rolled up our sleeves, survived more than a few 5 a.m. mornings and lots of very late nights, and we turned it into something special—a place full of connection, laughter, and really good coffee.

I’m so grateful for the skills, the lessons, and the reminder that everything is figure-outable. There were days that were incredible and also days I had to go into the storage room to cry for 10 minutes (sometimes way longer). It all was part of the journey.

The uncomfortable feeling at the beginning? It didn’t last. And even now, with new changes and challenges, I don’t always know how things will unfold—but I’m learning to embrace the uncertainty and the discomfort that comes with it.

It was time for that chapter to close. That business had been such a huge part of my life, so ingrained in my identity, that I didn’t know who I’d be without it. This past year has been about rediscovering myself, letting life unfold, and seeing what doors open when you trust the journey.

I’ll always treasure the memories, the people, and the journey we shared. 🤍

POV: You’re mom is the coolest mom on the beach in custom towel shorts 😎🩵

I made these for my mama and they turned out so cute I had to share! Comfy, beachy, and made from upcycled towels—aka, perfect for saltwater lounging, post-swim snacks, and matching your sun-soaked vibes. 🌊✨

I’ll be releasing a limited batch of these soon… stay tuned or DM me if you want first dibs!

Girls night out… 3 generations of us ladies… just missing my sister and niece tonight. Isn’t my Gran the prettiest grandma around? it’s rhetorical I already know the answer… she is😁.

And yeah my mom thinks my lack of toenail and giant bandaged up toe situation is too funny.🤦🏻‍♀️
