From Pre-k through 12th grade, Amite has always been the place I call home. I don’t think no one understands how much I love this city and the people I’ve met during the process. The memories that were made and the appreciation that i’ve gained just by being me, Franklin Morgan Jr, has a huge impact on my life. The Lord knew this was the best place for me to continue my school and athletic ability, so I took on the challenge by overcoming adversity and staying determined so I could have my name known like others that came before me. Support from Family is one of the reasons I didn’t fall, or if I did, helped me get right back up to keep going. Friendships that I made along the way will never be forgotten because, without y’all I would have probably been lost in so many ways, but y’all didn’t let me. To the kids that look up to me, don’t just go by the athletic accolades, be great children, students and overall great people. Enjoy every second of your life, because in a instant it could be gone. In the words of my dad, “Treat everything like it’s your first project”. Have a purpose for whatever it is that you’re doing. I’m proud of me but I am not done yet, bigger and better accomplishments are soon to be achieved. Louisiana Tech University, I’m Ready. #mft #HBTD #All3EVERTHING
