Two weeks ago we dropped THE EDUCATORS EDIT teaser and the response BLEW us away. The comments, the DMs, the energy from this community confirmed everything we already knew - our Lash industry is ready for something different.

So here it is. The Educator Edit. Canada’s first 8 week educator development program, built by the two of us because we genuinely believe the future of this industry starts with stronger educators.

This is not a course you take to add a credential to your wall. It’s a live small group experience for lash artists who are ready to step into education and do it with real integrity, and for the educators who want real guidance on improving their courses.

Over 8 weeks we go deep together. You will leave knowing how to develop a curriculum that actually produces results, implement a program that runs professionally from day one, market yourself in a way that feels authentic, and attract students who are as serious as you are.

We cover it all, from building your manuals and theory, to health and safety standards with special guest Dr. Janice Luk, to the psychology behind why people invest, to the actual art of teaching different learning styles and navigating the hard moments in the room.

But here is what makes this different. Our relationship with you does not end on week eight. As your educational offerings grow and evolve, we are committed to being a resource for the educators who come through this program. Because building something that lasts takes more than one season, and we are in this with you for the long run.

Upon Successful completion of our program, you will be featured across our platforms + websites as recommended educators. (We get a lot of inquiries for certification and other educational classes)

Knowing your craft is not the same as knowing how to teach it. And the artists coming up in this industry deserve educators who understand the difference.

Applications are open June 15 through July 5. First session is July 13. Spots are small on purpose and every application is reviewed within 48 hours.

A 3 minute haul🤓🍿 with @temu

Korean Lash Lift artists.. you don’t need to break the bank. Here are some of my favourite shields we like to use for our clients!

At Toronto Beauty Room, Korean lash lifts are one of our specialties and with the volume of clients we see weekly, maintaining high standards is non-negotiable.

High volume should never mean lowered standards. If anything, it pushes us to be even more intentional with the quality we provide

💡 It’s always good to replace your shields especially the shields and rods after several uses, why? ⬇️

1. Loss of shape and structure: over time, shields and rods can warp, stretch, or lose their original curve from repeated sanitizing and use.

2. Product buildup: adhesive and solution(s) residue can build up in tiny pores or surface textures, even after cleaning

3. Hygiene and sanitation: repeated exposure to the eye area makes proper sanitation extremely important. Older shields can develop microscopic wear and tear that may trap bacteria or debris. This is why we are constantly replacing our shields or have double sets on deck

4. Reduced adhesion: as shields age, they may not stick to the eyelid as securely making application for step 2 more difficult and affecting precision

5. Material breakdown: silicone and jelly materials naturally degrade over time from disinfectants, heat, and chemical exposure, becoming less reliable and less comfortable

The little details behind the scenes are what make the biggest difference in your results. Hope these tips help & always remember to replace your old shields 😉
