📷 @abangpolar #fjallraven #artic #travelblog #travel #adventure #magic

ആ രാത്രിയെങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നോ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു എന്റെ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു വർഷം... and we never give up on searching for certain things not because it adds so much meaning to life... but because everything else, everything that we have, everything that will ever come to us... the meaning of all of it will cease to exist if we lose the one thing that we really want in our life! And we fight loosing battles for love as long as we can, so that we will have a reason to hold on to in the sleepless nights when we feel an impending doom in our chest! Let's heal so that we can love again, so deeply, so extravagantly that we can never give up. Love when you can, love as much as you can... all this ends anyway! | @india1000days The greatest journey is yet to come!

Wild child, this is a journey that we started together and when it comes to an end, we're in two different roads, running in two different paces. But deep down, we know that there's something eternal about us, a connection, a synchronicity! But what was this year trying to teach us? What was that lesson? I think we've been trying to fix our branches that never bloomed and the lesson is to realise that the branches never bloom as long as we don't fix our broken roots! Yes, our broken roots, our childhoods! My wild wild child, maybe we've always been looking for what we always looked for as a child in everything. It is really strange to realise that I will always stay and fight, not because I'm consumed by love but because I'm consumed by a habit as old as my memory! It is strange that we always chase what runs and we never appreciate what stays by a habit. Remember the time when I was running and the time you stayed? And look at us now! Maybe we never needed each other but it was always the kids in us, looking for the missing pieces. Maybe we'll never find homes in each other, as long as we don't find homes in ourselves. Let's go deep into our roots and kiss where it hurts the most. Wild child, eternity is a long road and let's part. If we don't part, how will we meet again? @india1000days #india1000days #roadtrip #travel #travelgram #travelphotography #mountains #himalayas #trip #magic

"Where next?" has always been the most frequently asked question in my inbox. The truth is, I'm tired of departures. It was never about having a place to go but going away from home, carrying the heaviness in my soul, to find strength so that I can come back and knock at the door once again. Once upon an old forgotten dream, I remember you whispering in my ears; "Traveller, let us return" and here I am, looking at a closed door. Today, as I write this, I realise that there will never be another departure for the call of unexplored lands no more excites me, I no more wants to be 'somewhere' and there's only one place I want to be. I don't want be called a traveller for running away, I don't want to be known for the acts of my cowardice. A man must be known for his acts of courage and I'm the man who returned, the one who stay, the one who will never stop fighting, for that's what you do when you love something. As I stay here, out in the cold rain, looking at a locked door, trying befriend my anxiety that makes me feel like an abandoned kid, embracing the homesickness with undying hope that my home will wants me home too... as I STAY, as I FIGHT, I want to tell everyone who are away from their loved ones tonight, away from a place or a person you call home, I want to tell you one thing... "It's okay. Take care :)"

Walls of your house had cracks, your windows were broken and you were on your knees, crying like a kid. Isn't it strange that it happened to me too? But then we met, we saw each other through our broken windows and we shared smiles when tears were still rolling down. As you said, there's a time and place for us. Maybe that's where we're supposed to arrive... maybe that's where we belong! I know we're both tired walking, running in circles, surviving things that might kill others, walking through the graveyard of our dreams where ghosts of our hopes scream, we overcame nights when we felt an impending doom in our chests... but we were always looking for something so curiously, something that we didn't even knew... we thought the apocalypse is near, when stones rained over our houses. But today, with the stones that they threw, we're building a stairway to our fairytale land. What we were looking for was a time and place, a way home and today, we're going home! 💫 📸 @navaf__

Speaker no: #2

Niyog Krishna is a 26 year old adventure traveller from Kerala who's already achieved and seen far more than the average man does in his lifetime. In 2017, he made waves in the travel community for his zero-budget hitchhikes and treks across the country, but then beat all odds to become the first Indian to qualify for the Fjallraven Polar, a 300 km long extreme winter expedition across Northern Scandinavia. The enterprising explorer is also a film director who has associated with the likes of the veteran director, late I.V. Sasi. His undeniable and insatiable zest for life and adventure makes him a real and relatable inspiration for today's youth and his story truly debunks the archetypal Indian thinking that considers money to be the primary obstacle against exploring the unknown.
