THE REBELLION IS BACK November 6th is about to be WILD AF The fact that we have so many dope musicians and poets all in one room for one night like how is this legal? We're collecting food and laundry supplies. List of most needed items drops this week. People are in need and we can actually help. We can't solve all the problems of the world but we can do this. #chrisrockwell #soundsurge #fortheculture

✍️ I wrote my way out 💫 Love to @t2_fitnessss for putting this song in front of me this morning. The conversation that followed was vulnerable...me telling her just how deeply I felt the words "I wrote my way out." I wrote to her, "I had to go through everything i went through to be here... and i am really thankful to still be here with my wits intact , an open heart, and a willingness to keep creating. The darkness could have snagged me a few times ... and im somehow still in the light." In the beginning of the year, a yellow sticky note in my office read: MISSION: KEEP THE LIGHT ON. 💡 That message has grown to mean so many things to me since then from my personal journey, to the relationships I keep and the communities I am a part of, to my purpose, life work, and spirituality. 💡 @cheekmusic told me he popped down to the park to take some photos at this exact time because he knew the lighting would be just right. He didnt know he'd capture photos of what Ive declared as "my most authentic performance ever." Not because the poetry was practiced, but because I feel in the light of myself as a creative, writer, and human. Like ive practiced being me long enough to let my shoulders down and breathe a little bit.. like the healing has caught up enough to finally outweigh the burden of trauma ... like the God ive been praying to has called me forward to share what He has been working on in me in a brand new way. So, here I am.... and Ryan just happened to be in his element & got these amazing shots 🥰🥰 🤍 I would be amiss to make a post about 48 Blocks without acknowledging the light and life of the young man Jayden who lost his life on Sunday. While I didnt get a chance to meet him or experience him, Ive seen a dozen stories from my friends over the last 24 hours about what a special Light-filled kid he was. Sending endless love to the community grieving. I find solace in knowing his spent his last full day on earth with my artist friends, surrounded by love and light. 📍 @atlanticcitypublicarts ~ 48 Blocks 2026 #atlanticcity #keepthelighton #purposedriven #poet

As of Sunday, my art is now on the walls of the hallowed Union Market in Tuckerton Nj; and there it shall remain for the next few months. Go take a look at what they're doing there, and take in the sights of the other freshly installed works from a few other amazing artists. THANK YOU to these fine folks for including me and treating me so well. Absolutely honored. I must implore you all to pay them a visit. The welcoming people you'll find there have delightful coffees, teas, eats, and smoothies; all of which will put you in a state of blissful retreat.
