The first time I ever travelled to the UK was just last year. Honestly, if not for my mission of creating market access for SMEs, I had no real desire to leave Nigeria. I love my country too much!

After that trip, which was on a 6-month visa, everyone around me kept saying the next step was to apply for a 2-year visa, then 5 years, then 10 years, you know, the usual progression.

So in my mind, I was set for a 2-year application.

But my travel agent, @njetours said, “Nelly, apply for the 10-year visa straight. They won’t reject you.”

I was like, “Ah ah, but that’s not how people usually do it o!”

She said, “You’re too busy building businesses to be worrying about visas every few months. Apply once and move on.”

Toh! I listened.

And ladies and gentlemen... they gave me the 10-year UK visa! 🙌🏾

Even if I may not go often, this one sweet me die!
