This last and final rafting trip has been the best year yet. It’s so hard to leave now that I’ve finally found my community. These trips have become so much more than just rafting, they’ve become a place where I’ve experienced genuine friendship, endless laughter, and people who radiate the joy of the Lord. Every conversation and every moment reminded me what it looks like to live with Christ at the center. Watching the Gospel shine through each person here has encouraged and challenged me in ways I’ll carry with me forever. As I head off to college, it’s bittersweet knowing this chapter is coming to an end, but I’m so grateful for every person who made these trips feel like home.

One of the greatest lessons I’m taking with me is what it truly means to abide in the Lord. When we remain rooted in Him, He becomes the source of our joy, our peace, our strength, and our love for others. Just as branches can only bear fruit by staying connected to the vine, we can only live the lives God has called us to live by staying close to Jesus. My prayer is that no matter where college takes me or what season of life comes next, I would continue to abide in Him daily, trusting that He will lead every step and produce fruit that points others back to Him. 🤍 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” John 15:4

Draw me close and teach me to abide Lord

As I check off another year of my high school rafting trip, I am so beyond blessed for CSM. This week has been so impactful in my walk with Christ and has helped me through a valley I have been walking through the last few months. From my conversations in my amazing small group, to dancing around I could see Gods grace and glory through it all. And I thank my Lord for teaching me to abide in Him each and everyday

As I said goodbye to so many people I love and adore, one goodbye was harder than most. My beautiful Peyton. I love you so much, you have walked through so many seasons of my life and have never once looked at me and thought I was not worthy of being loved. I truly cannot wait to see what you do in college. You amaze me with something new everyday and I am so blessed to get to watch you walk into this next season of your life. Distance means nothing when your person means everything and I will always be one phone call away. I love you endlessly peyton and I cannot wait to see how you serve the Lord in this next chapter of your life.

Being trusted to lead this amazing group is more than a coaching position, it’s a calling. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Every practice is an opportunity to build faith, character, discipline, and a culture that honors Christ before it ever honors a win.
The world celebrates talent. We celebrate faithfulness.

Because championships are earned long before the first tip-off. They are built in the unseen moments, when nobody is clapping, nobody is posting, and nobody is giving credit. That’s where character is forged. That’s where leaders are made.

Following coach @msrozie25 from this morning devotion:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

To these young women: I’m proud of you. Keep trusting God. Keep embracing the process. Keep doing the unseen work. If we stay faithful, God will take care of the outcome.

The work is just getting started, keep the momentum going and always have each others back, encourage one another and remember be light to others.

Not so many pictures, but so many memories.
This week was so much more than the photos I took. It was filled with answered prayers, unexpected blessings, new opportunities, and countless reminders of God’s grace and unfailing love.
Every message that was preached went straight to my heart. It felt like the Lord was speaking to me through every sermon, every person He used, and every word that was shared. He met me exactly where I was and reminded me of His steadfast love and that He is ALWAYS faithful no matter how hard to try to hide.
I’m leaving this week with a heart that’s full, encouraged, challenged, and so grateful for all that God is doing in my life. All glory to Him 🫶
