Today we made our first passes with the Ripatuned development demon 170 and the car did not disappoint! With some more seat time, better prep for the stock tires and fully learned transmission/transbrake and drag features unlocked this car will be able to run the advertised time. We were running the car with 66 miles on it and these features do not unlock until 500 miles.

I did everything I could today to make it hook but the track would not hold. 1st and 2nd gear launches, various tire pressure etc. the video attached is my best pass

Overall the powertrain in this car is underrated and I believe it’s making much more than 1025 crank hp. Car is violent for a stock vehicle. We were able to go 4.88 60-130 with multiple 4.9 all day. DA today was +400 to +580

We will be dynoing the car this week and no that we have a baseline we can compose our stage 1 calibration for the car.

There is a ton of torque management in this transmission from the factory and with tuning I believe there is a ton on the table on the engine and trans side. The transmission calibation is firm but the shifts are rather slow from the factory. Take a look from our in car video.

Stay tuned for more as we bring the demon 170 platform to the next level. If you are Interested in taking your demon or any hellcat powered vehicle to the next level, give us a call 908-312-3220/908-312-1706 or email us tony@ripatuned.com

Picked up my demon 170 today! Time to see what this thing will do! We are going to weigh the car in the AM, adapt the transmission and get it down a track!

Then it is all hands on deck to bring this car to the next level, Ripatuned style! We already have some parts for these in the works!

Special thanks to @njmopar for the seemless transaction, ordering process and keeping me on the loop every step of the way. He is a true mopar guy and knows what we all want and knows how to make it happen. Reach out to him for ALL of your dodge/ram/jeep/Chrysler needs.
